I walked into this establishment with the expectation of a easy and Speedy checkout considering there was no one else in the store but another customer.Unfortunately that was not the case when I walked into this Northlake Mall beauty supply store .I purchased one and only one beaded decorated headband and I was charged for two.As I go to check out I clicked the wrong option on a card reader and canceled my purchase but a receipt came out of the square machine in which the cashier was using which means that my card had to go through in order for there to be a receipt .The cashier tells me that my card did not go through the first time so I put my card in and do it again. Then the card reader says do you want to duplicate this purchase which means that the reader had to charge my card the first time when the receipt came out which is why the receipt came out because it charged my card.I checked the balance on my card and it charged me twice. I expressed my concerns to the cashier and she continued To say that it did not go through on their end. Well in order for my card to be charged twice it had to go through on both ends correct! The cashier tells me to come back the next day because the manager will be in. I come back the next day and the manager is not in the office so she gives us a number to call. I called the number and I was directed immediately to a voicemail .I continued to express my concerns to the cashier. She still continues to act like she doesn't know how to work a register. She continues to say that it didn't go through on their side , I showed her physical verification that it charged the card twice but she continued to say it didn't go through on their side. As I said before I walked into this establishment with expectation of an easy and Speedy checkout with the intent to purchase one and only one headband. As of right now I'm just looking for a refund and an apology because that is ridiculous. EDIT My money was refunded almost 3 weeks later. Upon arrival nobody greeted me properly they all just stared and when I told them what I was there for one of their responses were “you made an appointment for 2 braids, wow” the girl who they told to do my hair acted like she did not want to do anything. She then told me my hair was too short for just 2 braids when I know damn well it’s not. They wanted to do 4 braids and charge me more, I let them because I wanted something done to my hair for my birthday. The entire time I was there they were talking about me and my hair, they we’re pointing and laughing and mocking me my boyfriend who was sitting even noticed this happening even saw the girl behind the mirror where I was sitting pointing towards me and whispering. These ladies are BEYOND rude and unprofessional. I will never go back here again!!!!!!!!!!!!! The braids turned out decent definitely not worth the money I paid though.
