Please read!: Had a great experience with the staff and store itself. Had many options for a steal! Our associate Steve was friendly and was really working hard to accommodate us and find the perfect living room set. Bought a living set leather, great condition, reclining, and one was dual powered the other was manual for $999. A steal. The only downfall is if you are financing with the no credit check Acceptance Now. Yes we got financed , yes we have our living room. The manager, Peachy, is just really nasty and stole $100 from us. The other associate Reyna is very polite and I wish she had assisted us that day. We gave Peaches $270 and only accounted for $170. My husband and I are witness to how much money we had. We gave her all the cash we had on us for the down payment me, I even had to pay the rest on card, so I would be lying if I only gave her $170 because I’m completely sure I gave her $100 more than that, which would make sense because it was 2 100 dollar bills 3 twenties, and 1 10. If the down payment wasn’t as much as we gave her then she should have gave us change. When we paid she didn’t show us the receipt she just stuffed it in a packet. She told me she was going to send us an email of all we purchased so I didn’t think to ask for a receipt since I would get it online. I got a confirmation email the next day and the numbers were completely off on from what we discussed I was paying and going to pay monthly. I went the next day and she wasn’t answering my question about the down payment just giving me details about the monthly payment (which was still incorrect in the email) and irrelevant things. I asked her for a receipt of what I paid, she said I would find all that in my packet she gave me. A male employee came up while I was talking to her and she completely ignored me by talking/flirting with the employee and starting an entire conversation with him right in front of me. She didn’t ask me if I was done or had any other questions. So I walked away thinking to check my packet when I got home. I guess since I wasn’t buying anything, just asking questions she didn’t care. I went home opened the packet and found that She only put that I paid $170 (when I gave her $270). I called again today after I saw that and had a huge attitude with me. She never not once offered to check her safe or earnings journal for that day to see if she had $100 extra for the day. Which I know she did, but since she’s the manager she can do whatever she wants with the money. I bet she didn’t even take the time to just stop and think back to remember who we were and how much cash we gave her. She had an attitude the entire time and just repeated “no you didn’t give us that much , no you didn’t , no you didn’t.” At least double check cameras or something. She really needs to get fired. She was messing up the whole time (messed up the day My monthly payment was due supposedly to be the 15th but put it for the 1st) we were there but, I didn’t think she could mess up something as grave as this. She can’t even give me the money I gave her back, she probably used it already.
Update after reaching their district manager, she told me they were “over” in their safe the night I bought my couches they returned me only $87 of my money. I will be contacting their regional manager as well. I knew they didn’t even check their earnings...

I read the HORROR stories about ACCEPTANCE NOW but I ignored my better judgment and believed my experience would be different.
We used the financing option to purchase a new mattress set. We were told about the 100 days, same as cash option and were told the total price that would be due at that due date.
I made the initial payment, one additional payment, and was calling to make a final payment and pay off the purchase within the 100 days. At this time I was told by Minnie (? Not sure of spelling) that my final balance was almost $200 more than what was actually due. I called several times before this final time and was told I owe this incorrect amount EACH time.
Thankfully my spirit wouldn’t allow me to accept it, and asked Minnie to go over a breakdown of why the balance was so high. After being placed on hold for almost TWENTY minutes, she gets back on the phone and apologizes for an “operator error” and tells me the CORRECT amount due (which was around the amount I was expecting to pay).
If I hadn’t pressed the issue and just made the payment, would there be any oversight to correct this mistake and refund me my money? How many times previously has this “operator error” occurred to other customers?
I feel like these practices are INCREDIBLY PREDATORY and without INTEGRITY. It’s bad enough the interest you charge people if you can’t pay the balance by the 100 days same as cash option. But for them to try and extort more out of people than originally agreed upon, is unacceptable and they need to be held accountable!
————————————————— Now onto the rest.
We had Fatima approach us, and I was eager to have her as our associate, seeing as though I read her many glowing reviews.
During our shopping experience, she was attentive, charismatic, and accommodating. After we made our purchase, that energy changed somewhat. I was hospitalized the night I made my purchase. Even as I was leaving the store, associates could see I was not well.
Fatima contacts me by text to ask me about my arrangements to pick up the mattress ( seeing as though they do NOT OFFER DELIVERY). When I replied that I was ill and needed time to make arrangements, instead of being met with the accommodating attitude previously presented, I was met with one that was pushy and lacked empathy, in addition to a breakdown of the store’s pick up policy.
I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYONE SHOP HERE unless you’re ready for a bunch of fine print, rules regulations, and...
Read moreToday I stopped into Rooms to Go Outlet looking for a chair for a guest area in my home. The outlet is conveniently located off I-85 with plenty of parking. I was immediately greeted by Steve who was friendly, not pushy, and provided information about the pricing and purchase options. There are plenty of floor models to choose from, but they also have furniture that can be purchased new. Steve checked on me several times as I browsed the store, but was not aggravating or overbearing. I returned today and requested him and he immediately put the chair I wanted on hold. I was able to purchase three items at a reasonable price. I had planned to force these items in my truck because they do not have delivery. But the clerk at the pick up desk suggested I considerate delivery. They a few independent companies that offer services and typically have a representative onsite to assist you. I was able to get all three pieces delivered for about $100 and I live 30 minutes from the store. The other great thing is I did not have to pay until they delivered my items. Rooms To Go Outlet has a lot of variety and is reasonably priced. My only caution is check your items closely. One of my chairs has a small tear that I can repair, but I did not see it until after I purchased it. And all my items were final sale. If your item is placed where you can not walk around it, ask them to move it out so you can see all sides. I deducted one star because I did not think to ask, but they did not offer to ensure it was in the condition I expected. I turned all the cushions over, but did not check the back of the second chair so it’s partially my fault. But it’s still worth a browse if you are not trying to pay an arm and a leg for a new piece...
