I just moved out after living here for 2 years, and i would rent here again. It’s not flashy and there aren’t many amenities, but it’s probably one of the most affordable places in the area. Maintenance was always quick to respond to work orders and typically had everything fixed before the day is over, but if the need to order a part they’re very good about communicating that with you! There is also an assigned parking spot per apartment, I came from a complex where you would have to park maybe 2 buildings over and walk, so this was a huge difference. They even recently started using a towing service so on the off chance someone takes your spot, their car will be towed at their expense. The past year there has been issues with the water, but the property manager was very good about keeping us updated and I believe they recently resolved the issue! This is also one of the few communities that allowed 3 pets with no monthly pet fee (not sure if that’s changed since i moved in) so my 3 cats and I were very relieved at that. We also never had pest control issues, the occasional spider cricket or water bug maybe once every few months but for living in the bottom, basically basement level apartment, Id say that’s...
Read moreI could not be happier with the apartment and the service I've received at City View, since Green Leaf Management took it over.
I've lived in 5 or 6 apartments, and the management has generally been poor. It's so nice to finally find a great management company.
At City View, I've had one Resident Experience Specialist, Sawyer, who has helped me through my whole move-in and residency. He's always very easy to contact, helping me via text, email, over the phone and in the office.
After moving in, I asked Sawyer if I could have a storm door installed, and offered to help cover the cost. He took my request to the property manager and they just installed one for me at no cost to me!
The renovation looks really good, new carpet, windows, light fixtures, appliances, blinds, and trim.
I had a few minor issues when I first moved in (e.g. hot water knob didn't work, a lightbulb was out, a small leak) and Sawyer helped me file maintenance requests, and Green Leaf has been extremely prompt to repair them.
AND I missed my first payment. Sawyer helped me get some of the fees waived as a first-time courtesy until I could get recurring payments set up.
Overall I couldn't be happier with my experience. 5 stars...
Read moreI went to tour an apartment today. The first thing I noticed was a bullet hole in the window frame of the leasing office. No one was in the office so I waited a little bit. After 5 minutes or so, a black woman showed up and let me in. I told her that I would like to see one of the apartments. She took my DL and gave me a key to one, told me to go to see it by myself.
The actual apartment was clean, though outdated and lacked cupboards in the kitchen. There was also painted over, but still obvious, damage to several door and closet frames.
When I returned to the leasing office, I mentioned that I had some questions and the woman told me that she to go to another apartment. It was obvious that she had no interest in helping me. I asked about the bullet hole. The woman said that the hole had been there longer than she had ( 6 months ) and she didn't know anything about it, other than it has been there...
