American Wings — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I was highly dissatisfied with the poor customer service I received last night. My family & I eat here EVERY Friday and last night once I got home 10 of my wings were not the correct flavor. I called the store to tell them about some of my order being wrong. The young man who answered the phone was not understanding my complaint due to the high background noise so he put the manager on the phone. I then proceeded to tell the manager that I ordered some wings but 10 were the wrong flavor, I ordered a total of 20 wings. 10 were suppose to be lemon pepper and 10 were honey teriyaki….I received 10 honey teriyaki and 10 honey wings…straight honey! I proceeded to tell the manager this was not my order he was trying to say maybe you ordered 10 honey lemon pepper and it was a back and forth battle trying to get him to understand I didn’t order those. He asked if I had a receipt I told him no we paid with a card I signed receipt and they placed it in the bucket on counter. He said look on your box and tell me the ticket order but on no box was any order number wrote. He told me there was nothing he could do with no receipt or order number! However if your staff are not following protocol and giving customers a copy of their receipt or writing the order number on the box what am I suppose to do? He told me fine just bring the food back, I told him sir I live all the way in Harrison(a good 25-30 mins away). For me it was the lack of empathy that their staff dropped the ball in making sure my order was correct and the lack of good customer service! To try to inconvenience me and make me waste gas to come all the way back when I had just made that trip was ridiculous! Never was an apology issued and it could have simply been resolved by saying ma’am I apologize for the inconvenience, I will take your name and the order and when you decide to come back we will give you the order we messed up for free! My nephew got food poisoning and had to be rushed to the hospital! The next morning #AmericanWingd on 3rd Street was closed down.. At first we didn't know why he was throwing up with diarrhea. I went back home to get it and showed the Dr and he said Thts definitely where it came from The chicken was raw in the inside.i contacted the insurance company tht the manager provided I would leave 0 stars but it won't let me. This place is absolutely ridiculous with a whole bunch of young workers. The only one who had sense in knowledge was the young girl with the green shirt on. The other little light skinned girl with the braid was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! THE MANAGER LOOKED AS IF HIS APRON Shoes AND PANTS HADN'T BEEN WASHED IN A YEAR! Pay attention to your food...

I love wings, but I don't have many options in Hixson for delivery. And the options that I do have are hit-or-miss. Suddenly, I saw that American Wings was an option for my address in DoorDash, and I've had wings multiple times for dinner and forced multiple friends that have stopped in to have them as well. I didn't have to force them too hard, because my enthusiasm sold it.

I've had the mild, lemon pepper, black pepper, bbq, and honey medium. All the flavors have been fantastic and the wings are perfectly cooked. The crinkle fries go well with the wings, but aren't gourmet or anything - just like I expected. The fried shrimp and okra are also good. I'm planning on having some of the fried rice next! I definitely recommend...
