I wasn’t expecting all that! - even though I read the reviews before going. I thought, it’s gonna be great (even though I went for just chips another time that my husband was getting tests, and it wasn’t great). It’s the manager, y’all. She is the problem. This is my second time going in there with an open mind, and it’s SUPER easy to see she is the problem. This time, she was ordering an employee out of the store, during lunch, which I don’t even have an opinion on because I have no idea what happened before that. The lady was trying to leave but the manager was right up behind her every step, threatening to call security on her over, I think the Subway visor🙄 on her head. I recognized the manager as she was the one bossing people around last time I went in, never looking up as I stood there RIGHT in front of her for several minutes at the register, just waiting to pay for chips. Today, though, she left out with the lady she was running off, and she never. Came. Back. the 20 or so minutes I was in there. The store filled up super fast. Those other two young ladies left in there stuck with it and divided and conquered as best they could. The one on register even tried to keep up with her glove changes, and I ain’t mad at her, she was multi-tasking. I never did see the manager come back. I did, however, see several frustrated online orderers and I get it, I’ve been that person who ordered online because I didn’t have time to wait. Today, though, I hope I remember today before the next time I assume someone was ignoring my orders. Hats off to the young ladies keeping their composure in the...
Read moreWhen my wife and I entered, a customer was being checked out at the register by the server. My wife and I went to the beginning of the line and a male employee of the hospital entered and started talking with the server. They flirted for a while and then he talked her into allowing him to cut ahead of us. She sold him two cookies and took his money (showing her racial prejudice). I ask if this was her boyfriend and she said "no just a friend who knows she is going through a hard time"
After about 4 minutes has passed she proceeded to us and ask what bread we wanted. I told her. Then she asked again stating that she could not make a sandwich out of paper (showing her ghetto attitude). After she started the Turkey Sub, she stopped and started making a sandwich for the next client. I informed her that the lady was not with us but she ignored me and started making two sandwiches.
Behold, a 3rd client entered and she left the two clients hanging and started his sandwich. Being a decent person he asked her to go ahead and check us out and her response was that she didn't use the register (a bold face lie)
After we stood there for about 4 more minutes at the register, a girl comes swooping in from the back and rings us up. She looked like she had been outside taking a downer or either asleep in the back. She was disheveled and not professional at all.
So this is an alert for white people expecting to be treated courteously at the Subway at Memorial. If you are a white, middle age male, don't go there unless you like for a...
Read moreI would give zero stars. On 11/17/22 around 4:25pm I visited this location because my husband had been in the hospital there for 3 days now. The female employee was working alone and it wasnt busy at all. I placed my order and as she started to put my vegetables on the sandwich she got to the tomatoes and before I could say anything she interrupted me stating I am not doing that, I said excuse me, I never had anyone ever say what they were NOT going to do to fix a sandwich. She go on to say you dnt have to take the sandwich and she preceded to place the sandwich to the side. Everyone in the store besides me was appalled by her actions. I just left the store without my sandwich. This was very disappointing when she didnt even give me a chance to say anything about the tomatoes. I was only going to ask for two tomatoes but instead got horrible service and totally embarrassed for no reason. I am a diabetic and had not eaten the whole time I was there at the hospital. I will contact her manager and the subway corporation. I eat at different subway locations in my city at least 3 times a week. Came back today 11/18/22 to get managers name and store number and low and behold the manager is the person who treated me with disrespect. I asked her for the store number and she called the hospital security on me because she didnt want to face me again. She still refused to give me the store number but gave the hospital security a bogus number for the district store...
