My kiddos love the fair, we've gone the past 3 years & they always have a blast. There aren't a ton of rides but enough to keep them busy for a while. The thing I can't stand about this carnival in particular is every year they have 1 ride that costs extra. Either 12 tickets or an arm band + 4 tickets. That's $18 to ride this 1 ride 1 time! This carnival costs more for the arm band than at the Emmet County fair (which is 2x bigger), or did this year. But then, to ride the biggest ride you pay more?! Just crazy to me. Our kids know they have to spend their own $ to ride that ride & every year, they pass on it. Otherwise, it's not too bad. This year they had an awesome performer play there Friday night, I hope that continues! The 1 reason we took our kids to this fair, is bc of the petting zoo they had. They had all the farm animals there, you could feed them, pet them, etc. Likely this year was their last though so that's a huge bummer. The farm was 5/5 stars, they're awesome! Take it or leave it, it's an ok...

The rides are decent, but the grand stand events are much better than petoskeys. This place is great for children. Lots of kids rides and lots of animals, and you can do pony rides. Food is always good as well. That brings it up a star! Never know when your last...
Read moreSame same same at inflated entrance fees. Guess the organizers forget there are other fairs this time of year in the local area with the same venue that have cheaper entrance fees or are free. Maybe the organizers should look where the crowds are. Like at Art and Real Craft (not flea market) shows to draw in other walks of life folks. Staying away from this fair this year as nothing new...
