High Cotton Boutique — Local services in Chelsea

Stopped by one day and loved this store but was in a hurry and couldn’t shop. I came back a week later and of course the window displays had changed. With help from the owner, I purchased a top, in a small, against my better judgement. She assured me it would be fine and I could return if not happy. I also purchased the necklace paired with the top for a special college visit with my son. Once I tried the top on, I knew I should’ve gone with my gut and gotten the larger size, but it was unavailable. I tried returning the outfit 48 hours later and was told I could only return the top. I purchased the necklace to go with the top and at $40 dollars, it was a splurge. I left so disappointed. I wanted to love this shop but I won’t be back. I usually stop by HCB when I go to Chelsea. Normally I love to stop and shop but on this particular day May 6 2025 may have changed my mind for the future. I stopped by right before 5:30 knowing they close at 6:00 I hurried in and was greeted by a young lady vacuuming. She asked if she could help me and I explained I just wanted to look around real quick. She said well we close in 30 minutes.
