I stopped getting my nails done for about 2 years & I decided to try A Nails based off of the great reviews. The man who works here (I'm sorry, I don't know his name) did a FANTASTIC job! I wanted french tips but didn't have any photos of the type I wanted, so without me asking he picked out 4 or 5 different base shades and swatched them to let me pick what I liked, which I really appreciated because I didn't realize there were so many different types of french tips lol. But what really sold me is while he was prepping & filing/drilling my nails he paid a lot of attention to my cuticles & drilled underneath my nails. My biggest pet peeve of having my nails done is when I get back in the car & have to pull my skin away from the acrylic that ended up under my nail and it made them always feel so thick. But, I didn't have to do any of that because he made sure there was no acrylic left underneath my nails, which I also didn't ask for! He just did it! That alone definitely sold me, and I plan to keep coming back from now on, I'm so glad I came here! The polish did chip a little but that's completely my fault because the day I got them done we had a bbq so I was cleaning all day with harsh chemicals & constantly washing & scrubbing my hands all day from cooking lol. Used to love and recommend this place. But… last three pedicures have been awful. First time, they didn’t file my nails on the sides so they were uneven and the paint job (gel polish) was chunky. 2nd time, they cut my cuticles to the point it caused itching, burning, scabbing, scaling, peeling for 3-weeks post pedicure(tho I didn’t immediately attribute this to my pedicure until my third visit). 3rd visit, same nail tech, same experience and sloppy paint job to boot. This visit I attempted to get a manicure, they’re usually pretty good here, but the tech they gave me didn’t understand the nail shape I asked for and filed my once long nails down to the quick… so I left.

If you get one of the owners, you’ll be fine, otherwise, it’s a risk. I hope they get some new staff and back to the level of quality and consistency I used to...

I had a 5:00 PM nail appointment with Carrie, who came recommended. I was told to start with a pedicure, which took longer than expected because Carrie continued to take four other Caucasian women before me—despite my scheduled appointment and the fact that I had been waiting since 5:00 PM. By this time it was after 7:00 PM, I told the gentleman just to remove my gel polish because I was done waiting.

Not once did Carrie acknowledge me or apologize for the delay. I was made to feel ignored, overlooked, and frankly disrespected. It was obvious that they had no intention of servicing me in a fair or timely manner. The way I was treated made it very clear that I was being discriminated against.
