The manager there has an awful attitude every time I see her in the store. I always try to be nice but she seems to avoid dealing with customers.
I hear her complaining while she's standing by the entrance smoking with other employees about how she hates working at the cherokee store and only does so she can be in charge. I don't know what she's in charge of. The aisles are always crowded up with carts needing to be unloaded. Shelves are always half empty.
Today I was walking up to the register as she was finishing ringing an older guy up. I called out to her. "Just a second. I'm coming." I made eye contact with her and smiled. She looked at me and her mouth tensed before she casually walks over to a nearby shelf. Pretends to leaf through some stickers. Strolls over to the office. Has herself a drink. Then converses with the employee who was sitting in the office. Then he comes out to check me out. Please don't ask me to explain why this was infuriating.
After checking out. I went to find the manager to let her know that I was leaving a review for her and she wouldn't tell me her name. (I know it's some variation of "T" because the boy who finally checked me out told me.) She then proceeds to try to gaslight me by saying I was assuming things.
