I love going thrifting and occasionally find decently priced items at this store, but the prices have gotten absolutely ridiculous that I don’t even want to shop here anymore. The staff and cleanliness of the facility are fantastic so it’s such a shame that you can’t buy anything that’s actually nice for a price you’d expect given the item is donated. I have walked in several times and have seen items brand new with tags being sold for only a few dollars less when I’d much rather go to the store and buy it new for a few extra dollars. There has been the same vacuum sitting along the back wall for $60 the past several times I’ve come in because no one is wanting to pay such ridiculous prices. Hopefully this goodwill eventually gets it together otherwise I will definitely be going to...
Read moreThe employees here do not honor the posted prices for certain items, likely at the instruction of management. We picked up two items with no sticker and a very clear price posted on one of the hanging signs. However, due to the brand, the employee scanned it in as $2 higher than the posted price without informing us. This borders on deception, and management should be doing a better job of informing customers of their actual prices.
The prices in this store are much too high most of the time. Management is very clearly overvaluing donated items that they receive for free, likely because they are using eBay for “appraisal.” Many items on the shelves were also broken, and they even have used makeup among their merchandise which I find...
Read moreI am very upset with Goodwill lately. As a non profit and thrift store they are pricing donated items ridiculously high. I tried to buy an outfit for my daughter who is in 24 months. Since it had a Nike logo on the front they had it priced for $10. They are making a ridiculous amount of money on a used shirt that was donated. Went to TJ Max a few days later to find a very similar shirt for a couple dollars cheaper and new. How is this non profit helping the community by making their items donated items so expensive? They really need to reevaluate what their mission is in communities and just state up front that they are trying to make a profit now, not...
