Everything was great until we waited nearly an hour to get our food when there was a very light crowd. The couple sitting at the table next to us arrived about ten minutes after us and got their food 10 minutes before us. My boyfriend and I had simple orders (I ordered beans and civiche and he had a burrito platter). Our waiter came out after about 45 minutes and apologized that he "forgot to put our order in" and would be right out. About ten minutes later our food came out but the civiche was missing, he obviously had forgotten the civiche and apologized again and brought it out about 5 Minutes later. The food was delicious and we were happy but we were expecting some kind of a discount for the wait and the admitted mistake on their part. The bill came back and was unusually high for a Mexican restaurant, so I decided to politely ask for a discount on our order. Our waiter came back out and said it's the kitchens fault and that the civiche takes a long time to make (it's chopped up vegatables basically) and that if we're were in "Italia" that we would be waiting 45-60 minutes for our food. I'm sorry but what does Italy have to do with this situation? We are in a Mexican restaurant in America and last time I checked is typically the fastest service of any type of dine in restaurant. He gave us zero discount and then denied telling us that he forgot to put our order in. I will never be going back to this restaurant despite the good food and vibrant setting simply because of the horrible service we received and lack of effort to ensure customer...

This was our first visit to Los Mariachis newest Chillicothe location. Situated in the former Dakota's restaurant just off of Western Avenue, this place is large enough to seat big parties while still maintaining ample room for social distancing.
As usual, the food did not disappoint. If you order chimichangas, be sure to specify that you want them fried. I don't know why you have to do this, but it's the only way to ensure that you get crispy chimichangas instead of what are essentially enchiladas. I learned this the hard way, but now I consistently receive chimichangas cooked the way I like them. I highly recommend the Chimichanga Mariachis - four chimichangas: two chicken and two beef.
My husband ordered three cheese enchiladas a la carte, topped with chorizo. He was very pleased with how they turned out. The large draft beers are served in frosty steins that stay cold throughout your meal. The margaritas are strong and worth ordering as well.
Our service got off to a good start, but all but disappeared when it was time to get our check. We dined around 3 PM, so we may have been there during a shift change. We eventually had to flag someone down to ask to pay our bill. A frustrating end to an otherwise great dining experience. We will...

Recently, I had the pleasure of celebrating my sister's birthday at Los Mariachis with a large group of 11 people. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making sure that everyone was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal.
The food at Los Mariachis is simply amazing. From the fresh chips and salsa to the mouthwatering entrees, every dish was bursting with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the tacos and enchiladas, which were some of the best I've had in the area.
