We ordered furniture in late June for our new house that was to be completed in November. Estimated arrival was for late October, early November. We ordered two Lazy Boy recliners and a Lazy Boy reclining couch. Jerry called us to let us know in November that our chairs were in but the couch was delayed until mid January as there was a supply issue with the recliner mechanism. They searched their network to see if another dealer would possibly have the same couch they could trade for. No luck. We finally moved in to our house December 8th and called to ask if we could get the recliners. Jerry offered to bring the recliners as well as a choice of three different couches we could use until our couch comes in (now late January or early February). This is what you call customer service! The delay was out of their control but they wanted us to have furniture for the holidays. Going forward, Chilton Furniture will be our first choice. The wait, therefore, was long and when we did get delivery the style of drawers was different from what we had ordered. It was clearly a manufacturer's error. Immediately the owner of Chilton Furniture, Jerry, eased our minds, made calls to the manufacturer to re make our order correctly and adjusted our bill due to the inconvenience. Ultimately, we decided to keep furniture that was first delivered. It is beautiful and we will enjoy it for years to come. Jerry went out of his way to make this purchase right for us.
