My aunt and I visited from out of town on February 25th. We saw how Seven Angels was highly recommended in the area and thought to give it a try for breakfast. I had an omlette with a side of fruit and a cappuccino. My aunt also had an omlette and cappuccino but with breakfast potatoes. When we sat down, my seat was skewed but I didn't mind. The waitress who was taking our orders apologized and made a comment about how a "very large person" was sitting there before. I needed replacement silverware as mine looked to have either rust or food on it. The waitress was quick to bring another. While we were waiting for food, we overheard the waitress arguing with someone, seemingly a cook. My only thing to mention with that is she was across the restaurant, so it's not like we were sitting close by and yet we heard easily. Later she was taking an order from another table and made a comment about kids screaming- there was a family seated nearby with a little one, so that's expected. Not sure if she was joking in her tone, but it seemed tactless and was unnecessary. The cappuccinos were delicious. The omlettes were large portions. The grapes that came with my fruit didn't seem to be washed prior as there was still some dirt on them. My aunt actually found a hair in her omlette-- neither of us have short, dark hair. Since we already were uncomfortable we didn't want to bother more. The prices are great though! $20 for two large omlettes with sides and two cappuccinos. All in all, this first experience did not make me want to come back. I'm sure it was a bad day, but one uncomfortable thing after the other wasn't...
Read moreExperience went from bad to worse...I ordered a waffle with cherries, which I asked for on the side, otherwise the waffle gets soggy. While we were waiting for our food we could hear our waitress speaking to who we assumed to be the chef. We could plainly hear her say that the cherries were supposed to be in the side, apologize and then say she had it on the order slip. She then said "that'll work". I looked at my husband and said "I'm guessing they scraped the cherries off and flipped it over". Sure enough, our food came out almost immediately. I looked at the flip side of the waffle and yup, there were cherries on the bottom of the waffle. When the waitress came back my husband mentioned this to her and she apologized and said she thought they made a fresh waffle! She said she could get a new one made which I declined. She then came back later apologized again, and told us, again, that she thought a fresh waffle was made. We clearly know that she was aware they only flipped the waffle! We heard her conversation with the chef! When she brought the bill she again apologized and said they compensated by taking a few items off the bill. They compensated us by not charging for my husband's coffee and the cherries. These items didn't even add up to the cost of the waffle!!! So disappointed in this experience and how things...
Read moreI'd like to leave 0 stars. My soup had a burnt taste so they gave me a different kind that was good. Then my beef tips came and the gravy was black. Also burnt. I ended up eating eggs which came with uncooked whites. When we went to pay we noticed the bill was added wrong. The owner informed us it wasn't because they were charging us for the soup that came free with my first meal. They refused to take it off the bill so I took my tip back. She called me rude. I have never had so much bad food served at one meal in my whole life and had the owner tell me it was only my opinion because their food is good. My advice is do not...
