Horrendous customer service ~ TACKY. Expect to be brazenly ASKED if you'd "like to leave a tip." More than once I've been asked this, BY THE OWNER!! For scooping up a cone, in a store that they OWN? If you ask for your kid's melting cone to be flipped upside down into a dish--expect to be nickle and dimed--they CHARGE for that empty dish...but won't tell you...you'll find THAT one out on your receipt. My last straw was when I patronized their drive thru one night at closing time and FIRST, I was asked if I would leave them a tip...and SECOND, I was "reminded" that they CLOSED 2 MINUTES AGO, so to "remember that for NEXT TIME" so it wouldn't happen again. Well, no worries--it won't happen again--I will not be coming back. I wanted to like this place; their ice cream is yummy--but not worth it unless you enjoy your sugar with a side of thankless rotten attitude. It astounds me that reviews on here commend their customer service?? I can only wonder if those folks stopped in once, when all the stars happened to align? I've been there many...
Read moreWe stopped here after a local craft fair. They had some interesting sounding flavors that I would have possibly gotten, but wasn't sure If it would indeed be something I like. So naturally I asked for a sample of it. They don't do that, weird but what ever. The prices are a bit on the high side for what you get, the ice cream wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to rant and rave about. For the price I would expect either really big scoops or really great ice cream, you will get neither. And to top it off 53 cents for a plastic spoon?!? That is honestly the biggest rip off I have ever seen. I should have read the reviews of this place first, then I would have known to be nickel and dimed and that the owner feels it exceptable to lash out at reviews he doesn't like. So my constructive criticism is this, perhaps if you charge an entrance fee to your establishment you could afford to let people have a spoon for...
Read moreGood, but not as good as it used to be. They re-arranged a bit, which makes it hard to navigate and see all the ice cream choices when it's busy. The kids that work nights and weekends are not friendly at all and look like they wish they weren't at work. No smiles, interactions with customers, etc. other than asking what ice cream you want and telling you the total. No thank you at checkout. No music outside anymore, which ruins the fun atmosphere of sitting outside listening to the tunes (speaker is still there, it just buzzes). The broken atmosphere is not worth the increase in price and the decrease in portion size (get almost nothing compared to what they used to give for each size/scoop count). Ice cream is still delicious, but the other changes and...
