Brickyard Feed & Seed — Local services in Chipley

Called 5/21/2020 & was told they had a shipment of various chicks, ducks, turkeys & guineas expected on 5/26. Asked to reserve some, was told no, I couldn't reserve any. Verified the shipment came in on 5/28. Went to store & bought turkeys & ducks. I was told all the guineas were sold. Came back on 5/29 to replace 2 turkeys that died. Many guineas still there. Asked about them again & was told again they were sold but to call Sunday in case they were not all picked up. Called Sunday morning & was told they had some left on 1st come basis. Went back to Chipley & counted 25 guineas in the box. Long line ahead of me & the older male employee asked the man at the counter if he was there for his 10 guineas. Yes. I them spoke & said I was there for guineas also. I was told again they were sold. I told the employee you just sold him 10 there is 25 there. He said you just called & I told you 1st come. I said there should be 15 left. He repeated they are sold. He apparently gave the other customer 25 guineas for the price of 10! While I was there I also noticed 1 of the turkeys was dead in the box. Several of my ducks & turkeys have also died! I don't like be lied to! I don't like being jerked around! I resent wasting my gas & time to see this employee constantly changing the rules, lying & playing favoritism! This was my first time doing business with them. I was planning on doing future business with them. Not anymore. There are too many reputable businesses in the area to waste my time on a subpar unprofessional business like this! I worked as a quality assurance engineer for 25 years. Our slogan as a QS-9000 company was "say what you do, do what you say!" Something this company...

I love this place for all my feed and more. I love their hours cuz they stay open till 7pm everyday and till 4 or 5 on Sunday seven days a week which is so great for those who work and commute to have a place that stays open later then any feed store ever. They also have affordable prices great selection and the staff is so friendly and down to help you anyway they can they are very educated on any product in there and any questions about animals and hunting. I recommend them to everyone and they will load up everything in your vehicle free of charge as well tho tipping is allowed if you want tho...

A nice friendly place with fast service. Great people helping as soon as you enter this feed & seed store. They carry everything out to your auto with smiling faces, because they are happy you shopped with them. Good prices too! We’re enjoying our chickens that we purchased from them a few months back.
