Prices are extremely high for childrenās resale so I typically only shop here on sale weekends. Roughly a year ago I brought in a large box of clothes and shoes and the store manager went over the procedure with me and told me that I could either pick up what they didnāt want or donate. I signed the form and went on my way. A few days later, I got a text that I had a $40 credit. It only asked if I wanted to come and pick up the things that they didnāt want. I responded and asked if I could see the items that they didnāt want to determine if it would be worth coming to pick them up, and I never got a reply but did confirm that I would accept the credit. Today I went in, hoping to use my credit to buy the next size of shoes I needed. I was told by the store manager that since I hadnāt picked up my gift card within a year they had thrown it away. I told her that nothing was ever mentioned to me about a gift card and she said that I should āalways read forms before I sign themā. I also asked why the text message about the credit doesnāt remind people that they need to pick up a gift card and she said we do NOT mention it in the text. Again, you should read the form. My problem is not with the policy. Time flies by as a parent and if I missed my window I missed my window. She did flip through about 20 other forms looking for mine so at least Iām not the only one! But the attitude of the manager was unnecessary. A simple Iām so sorry if anything was unclear or thatās a great idea, Iāll pass along the idea of putting a reminder about the gift card and expiration in the text would have sufficed. I would have been inclined to leave one star , but the store owner did follow up and go through the previous yearās files to find my form and reached out to me to address...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited today and they have a lot of toys, and clothes. I specifically went looking for Toddler 2T boys clothes and there was a pretty good selection. They have a lot of Carter's Osh Kosh, The Children's Place, and others. I was a little surprised that the prices were in my opinion a little high for what you get. The toys that I looked at were even a little higher in price for used toys. The lady that helped me was professional and fairly nice, but not overly helpful or kind. They also had some strollers, highchair, and one pack and play, I did not look at the price for them. The prices on the clothes were just a couple of dollars off of what you would pay at the store. I left from there and went to look at the Department Store and saw a couple of the same outfits (Carter's) were literally just $2 off what I would have paid there. I think that is a little high for used clothes. I am not sure that I would make the drive back up there due to saving a couple of dollars is not worth the drive from the city. I am probably being generous with the three stars, but I don't want to trash someone trying to earn a living, just beware if you are looking for some good deals, this is NOT where you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThereās plenty to choose from for all ages and toys, but I didnāt find the customer service to be good at all. I came in behind someone and wasnāt even acknowledged, I asked how she was and just got a āIām fineā, and I felt like she didnāt like my children were with me looking at and touching everything. Itās possible I came in on a bad day for her, but in my experience working retail I had to put my feelings aside and serve the customer. I might give this place a second chance, but if met with the same circumstances Iāll choose another small...
