had an extremely unpleasant experience at Harps in Chouteau recently. I brought my service animal with me, which I have the legal right to do, and was treated in an unbelievably unprofessional manner. I didn’t have his vest with me, as I'm not legally required to have one for my service animal.
Before I even had a chance to enter Christopher M., who claims to be the manager, Met me at the front door as if he watching me get out of my car and made his mind up about the situation before I even had a chance to explain I felt extremely uncomfortable even just walking in. then he completely embarrassed in front of other customers, by making huge scene about my dog before I even had a chance to say anything . He wouldn't even let me explain the situation or listen to my side at all. He wanted us When I informed him about the legalities, of service animals he didn’t care at all and proceeded to kick me out of the store without a second thought. His attitude was condescending and rude, and it was clear he had no interest in understanding the law or treating customers with respect.
I left feeling extremely humiliated and frustrated. I sincerely hope that if I ever need to return to this store, Christopher M. won’t be there. His behavior was completely unprofessional and not what I would expect from a manager. I will be contacting...

When we got home we saw that the chicken skin was on the dark side. Unusual but willing to give it a shot. After biting into a piece, we realized that the chicken was likely sitting in the warmer since lunch time and had soaked up all of the oil, which not only made it darker but the chicken itself was tough and had a funky taste. Nothing even remotely close to what we get at the Inola store. We tossed it. The mashed potatoes and gravy were meh. Even though it's less convenient, in the future, we will be patronizing the Inola store. Which we did a couple of days ago and, as usual, their chicken...
Read moreI'm glad they opened another store in Chouteau. Wish it had been another Saver type store, though. This store is clean, the people are friendly and the meat and produce seems to be fresh. Unfortunately, the prices are quite a bit higher than Walmart and / or Homeland in Pryor. Obviously, since this is a smaller store, the selection isn't as great either. But when I just need a few items and don't feel like driving to prior, this is a convenient place to get...
