We have only been here once before today. We arrived about 7 mins til 3.....saw about 7 cars on the lot and thought hey let’s eat here. We will never return. We didn’t realize they closed at 3.....if they would’ve said something before they brought our drinks and placed our order, we would’ve left. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful! The manager had the other waitress come over, after we got our drinks and ordered our food taken mind you, and says “I was told to remind you we close at 3 on sundays just so you know.” I explained I really wasn’t paying much attention to the time and we were sorry. She walks off and about 7 mins later was cleaning the table behind us and asked if we needed anything. I said is there anyways I can get my salad before my meal? Her response, “She is having to cut everything up for your salad for we already put everything up for the day because we close at 3.” I said oh and looked at my husband and said I feel like we need to leave cuz they don’t want us here. He said I know but their already cooking our food. We weren’t the only ones in the restaurant. There was a table of about 12 still eating behind us. We left about the time they did. I have never felt so unwanted before. And my husbands mashed potatoes were old and cold. If I had the option, they wouldn’t even get a one...

My family of 5 came in on Mother’s Day and no one acknowledged us for awhile so we sat ourselves. Then we were actively ignored as 3 other families/couples walked in and found a seat and waitresses took their drink order and food order. By this time we have been in the restaurant for over 10 minutes without someone still acknowledging us. My husband went to waitress and asked for menus and drink orders she told him she would be there in a moment. THEN an older couple came in a few moments after and sat and the waitress brought them menus and proceeded to take their drink order. I approached the waitress at this point and was very upset because we are being actively disrespected at this point. She told me to calm down and she would come to us next. But after 4 other customer families have gone in and got their drink and food ordered it was a horrible experience. It was Mother’s Day on top of it all so ruined it all. This place needs shut down for the straight up disrespect we received in there. Please do not go here. The waitress who spoke to our family in that manner needs fired as...

My son and I decided to go get breakfast this morning. We originally stopped at Dennys but unfortunately they were short staffed and were going to have long wait times for food. So we decided we would go check out Old Street Diner after looking at their menu online. They were pretty busy when we got there but we were seated quickly. We started off with some fried pickles which were really good. My son ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and quite enjoyed it. I tried a bite of his and was super impressed. I ordered the chicken & waffles and enjoyed it as well. The staff was great. Food was reasonably priced and we got a lot for the price. I was very pleased with it all and plan to go again in the future. If you are near Chouteau and haven't been yet,...

I like here several times. Breakfast and lunch. If you're super hungry, try the chicken fried steak! This thing's huge. For lunch I would recommend the sausage Burger. It's awesome. This food is a lot closer to home cooked food than the place across Highway 69 that claims it has home cooked food (hint, that place over there uses food from Sam's). Service is always quick and friendly. On most days they have specials for lunch. I love Fridays because it is catfish day! All for $9.99!

This was my first and most likely my last time coming... The waitress was very friendly... 12.99 for a small amount of food was upsetting.. There was a dead roach on the floor by my table, my baby had kicked her shoes off under the table and I don't even want to know what the hell it was that was in between the seat and wall (see pics)
