The equipment is the best in the city--Rogue KG plates, competition benches, sprawling platforms for OLY lifts and DLs, deadlift jacks, etc. They also have a wide range of ROGUE Kettlebells (up to 108), cardio training equipment, dumbbells, squat racks, advanced strength components, accessory work tools, and all the bodybuilding basics. Best of all, Michael and Tyler are great people. I felt welcomed the moment I arrived. And they treat everyone in the same manner. If they don't have something you would like to see in the gym, simply tell them--they will look into it. Regarding the negative comment from a resident, they immediately discussed the matter with members and from the beginning, have always stressed the practice of common courtesy. Vibes are great. Everyone here takes their training seriously, but the place is very welcoming to those who are still learning the ways of the barbell. Not a beginners gym, but a gym that is welcoming to beginners.
Personal training: I’ve been training with Stephan at this gym since January. I’ve been an inconsistent beginner with my compound lifts prior to training here. Stephan's combination of intelligent programming and eagerness to teach the fundamentals has made a huge impact on me, i truly feel like i'm leveling up. With Stephan’s help, i too will be strong and powerful like all the patrons of Five Thirteen Strength.
