This vegan cheese is like none other I've ever seen before- better than anything store bought from Whole Foods or any of the famous brands like Daiya, Miyoko's, Violife, etc. First of all, Heather and Reggie take so much pride in their work and that alone makes them a pleasure to buy from. We really wanted some nice charcuterie for my wedding recently to serve during the cocktail hour between the wedding ceremony and the reception. Mad Cheese was highly recommended by a friend of mine so we decided to try it out. My mom was kind enough to pick up the meats and cheeses from Mad Cheese in Cincinnati and drive 8 hours with it in a cooler to Maryland! My sister-in-law made the cutest charcuterie fillable letters that spelled "MR & MRS" filled with the chopped Mad Cheese meats and cheeses along with different fruits, nuts, and crackers. Though only about 5 out of the 60 people at my wedding were vegan, there were hardly any leftover! I actually didn't even get to taste any of the meats because they were all gone before we finished taking pictures. In case you were wondering what's in this photo: we got jars of the pate and pimento, mad parma, greener pastures, jack of all peppers (my favorite!), spicy cheddarish, cheddarish, goudavibes, burrata, and the Fet-ahhhh. For the meats we got the Salamimami and Italian sausage. Can't go wrong with anything here. Take all my money!!

I first heard about Mad Cheese on Fox morning news and decided to check them out over the weekend. Wow, I am SO glad I did! First of all, the owners are an absolute joy! They had out samples, but Heather let me try some other things as well. The shop itself is fun and such a great atmosphere. I wanted to sit on the couch and just hang out all day, lol. I am not really plant-based, but I am always looking for healthier alternatives to dairy/cheese. I really liked everything I tried and ended up purchasing three types of cheese (Fet-ahhh, Nonna's Truffle, cream cheese), pate, and some mustard. The green onion cream cheese is SO good that I had some on fresh bread as soon as I got home. My teenaged son unexpectedly showed up after I got home to get his jersey for a game, and I convinced him to try two of the cheeses and the pate. At first, he was not open to it, but then he tried them all and LOVED the cream cheese especially. Next time, I will probably also get Greener Pastures and Spicy Cheddarish. I told my son he should try the Ranch dressing. I really want to try The Mid-City or bring it to a party soon. I'm also hoping to get to a cheese-making class and some of their other upcoming events. So glad I checked out Mad Cheese, and I will be back many times! :) <3

I purchased a cheese tasting at Mad Cheese for my sister’s birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect gift! She was able to bring six people along, and we all had such an amazing time. The space is absolutely adorable—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. Heather and Reggie are nothing short of fantastic. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing their passion and expertise about the vegan cheeses. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and they made sure the entire experience felt unique and special. In addition to tastings, they offer a variety of delicious vegan cheeses for sale in their shop, and they even have subscription boxes available. Whether you're vegan or just curious about plant-based cheeses, this is an absolute must-visit spot in Cincinnati. I highly recommend booking a tasting or stopping by the shop. It’s a perfect way to treat yourself or someone you love to a one-of-a-kind experience. We can’t wait to go back!
