Manga Manga — Local services in Cincinnati

I stopped in today for the first time and was super excited but for the whole 5-10min or so i was browsing the store, the person working did not acknowledge me. No “hi, welcome to manga manga”, no “can i help you with anything?” Etc and did not say anything when I left either. There was no one in the shop but me and the associate.

I don’t know if he just assumed I wasn’t coming in to actually shop and spend money or what (I was actually ready to purchase quite a few things) Sucks because they actually have a very good selection but the customer service was lacking.

Update: the owner reached out to me to apologize, which was very thoughtful and I was invited to come meet and speak with her.

Update 7/13: Went back in today and the owner greeted me before even recognizing who i was. She gave great customer service and was very apologetic for my first experience in the store with another staff member. I really appreciate how she treated me, so i will definitely be...

Don’t mind me, just adding to the rave reviews. This place rocks. Fantastic selection, with lots of interesting series, big and small, across many genres. (They even have some manhwa!)

Owner is super friendly, and was very willing to order volumes that they didn’t have in stock for me, even emailing me when it was in stock! Also every time I go I see something that piques my interest enough to give it a whirl. As a result, I’ve found probably 5 different series I never would’ve even heard of had I not gone in.

I love this place, though I’m sure my wallet absolutely does not love me after how much of a beating I’m putting on it with my weekly visits here. Seriously, check them out, you know...

I absolutely LOVE this store and I hope it's here forever! I'm from out of town but I've been multiple times now. The owner is so kind and they have a great variety of manga! I was able to find volumes here that are hard to find elsewhere. I also like the little chalkboard they have for community engagement.
