Our first time at El Camino: we got butter croissants, chocolate croissants, mushroom cheese pastry, italian sausage quiche, sourdough loaf, and coffees. Everything was outstanding!! The croissants had the most beautiful lamination I've ever seen. Their quiche blew me away; it was creamy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and by far the best quiche I've ever had. Definitely a must-try for anyone who normally doesn't like quiche. The best bakery I’ve ever been to. I have a gluten sensitivity but I can eat here - not sure what it is!! Their customer service is unmatched. As it was pouring rain a friend and I took cover in their awning. The owner’s partner was there and let us in, even though the bakery was closed. They gave us towels to dry off and a coffee to warm up. She even let us stay and chat as she worked. I’m so incredibly grateful - me and my 6 month old baby who was along for this wild ride. The pastries are absolutely delicious every time I come in! My favorite new place to go to in college hill. I will say today I was disappointed that the iced latte I purchased tasted burnt, and sounded as though the steamer was being used which is making me wonder if someone just steamed coffee instead of pulling an espresso shot because the steamer isn’t necessary for an iced latte.
