Dirty little place. White rice has little bugs in it, I don’t think their rinsing it properly before cooking so make sure you get beans on the side so you can take the little nat style bugs out. Common for rice to have but that’s why you rinse rice well before cooking. I’m bilingual and speak very well, but if you don’t know Spanish they WILL definitely give you poor portions poor selection of meat because they know you won’t say anything - and check receipt cuz you’ll probably get over charged too. Lol all positive reviews are those prob written by owners friends family who may work there. Food is just ok but DEFINATELY NOT Cuban or Puerto Rican cuisine- more like Mexican or not even because their beans lacked any authentic flavor. Cuban bread sucked white bag plastic liner I’ve had better at Publix. I would think a place like this would at least have fresh bread but nope. Try not to look to hard at floors walls or food prep areas because then you won’t want to eat. You also don’t get to pick what meat you want although it’s right in front of you- they make you take older meat prob from day before.... you can ask but they won’t give it to you saying they have to sell the other first. That left me in complete shock. Imagine going to publix and saying no I’d like that piece please and they say no I can’t give you that one I have to get rid of this one first 😂😂😂 my GAWD! Great food and all employees are very polite and helpful when I ask any questions about their merchandise. Good prices, fresh produce and great inventory. Their desserts are so always delicious and very fresh. I love the "Tres leches" it's the best. At the meat department they are very courteous and very helpful. I've been buying my meats there for over a year and they have good prices. You name it, they have it when it comes to Latin products. Another favorite factor is that their vegetable roots are very fresh and on the weekend it gets packed but the service is still great and fast. I'm also able to find all the ingredients to make my own sofrito which is what I like...

Since the hired almost all new people this place has change.i go every morning for my breakfast. Coffee empanadas .the best Cuban bread always hot and ready.
