Today I went to Gamestop in Johnstown around 4:30 PM. The stated hours of operation on the website say that the store closes at 8PM. That is, of course, unless the people don't feel like working, and shut the store down for an hour with a handwritten note posted to the door, saying, "back in 60 minutes, 3:50 ‐ 4:50". If this were the first time the store was randomly closed on a whim with a handwritten note, it would be understandable, but this is now the second time it's happened to me in a month. Read moreOverall I've always had good experiences at my local Game Stop. If I could give the customer service and employee's a 5 star I would. They are always very welcoming and super helpful when it comes to finding what I'm looking for or informing me on upcoming releases and pre-order options. The company gets a 3 star for advertising "Power to the player" while not giving any substantial deals on new games and product. Prices are rather high compared to bigger chain stores and online retailers. Game Stop used to be one of the best places for everything gaming. I hope they turn around and figure out ways to instill value into being a pro...
Read moreIf i could give this place 0 stars i would. Ive had nothing but awful and rude experiences here. Not only do they falsely advertise deals on games and products but the employees will stand and verbally abuse you once you bring up the total on said deals upon cash out. Nothing but snobby and overall greasy employees who treat customers like garbage. So dear employees we can tell you hate your job just by your attitude and demeanor so why take it out on us customers? The better option would just be to quit or better yet be let go by your employer for your overall TERRIBLE AWFUL customer service...
