Somewhat tough to find the Marines for the toy donations, but regardless, what's a couple of minutes to make children happy? The Marines are incredibly welcoming and positive, just as a Marine should be, yet you can feel the compassion they have also. My only regret was only being able to provide 12 gifts, great part is that you can specify what area they go to, so you can help where you want to. Yes, all areas need help, but some people want to help their childhood cities, current locations, etc. Very fulfilling, I plan on returning yearly for kids to have toys. It has a 23,000 + sft indoor turf field that is not only great for all the soccer clinics they have, and baseball clinics, but perfect for all kinds of sports. On top of that, there is plenty of viewing area for spectators. The field is impressive. And it's also for rent like all the facilities indoor and outdoor at the Armory. There are adult ed classes, citizenship classes, GED classes and gardening classes. If you want to offer a class, they seem willing to work with you. A great asset...

A very nice gesture as Newburgh has many hardworking parents struggling to keep us with price hikes, cost of living, etc. It also hosts Saturday camps for the kids. I believe it consists of gym time, arts, crafts, swimming, and other age appropriate activities. Also, a meeting place for Recovering Alcoholics...
