Purchased a new mattress, bed frame, couch, love seat and recliner from Steinhafels. Delivery drivers were understanding and professional but they showed up with the wrong couch and a damaged bed frame. You can clearly see the dark brown leather couch doesn't make the other fabric in the pics. The drivers even spotted all the damage and wrong couch before I did. Customer service at the store is awful. They had all the products in stock and refused to redeliver what we ordered to make it right. Forced us to reschedule for their error. Bed frame is so damaged it feels like it's going to fall apart and creaks just walking past it. You can't tell from the pictures but the damaged part of the footboard, the top board is loose from the assembly and literally creaks like a shopping cart wheel just touching it. My wife sat on the loveseat and felt a pinch, there was a metal staple in the seat. This is what you get for a $15,000 purchase from them. Our old furniture was in better shape than what we got. Called customer service and was hung up on twice by "Judy". Stated there was no manager there but the drivers were talking to one while at our house. This person has zero customer service skills and should not be in that department. We asked to speak to someone else and she told us to call back and ask for someone else yet she is the only one answering. She finally transferred us after stressing her to do so. The second person still didn't meet expectations but was at least nice and understanding. Our old furniture was hauled away prior and now we are spending New Years with half our order and sleeping on the floor after dropping $15k. They wanted me to leave them a review so here it is. I do not recommend them and urge people to shop elsewhere. I bought a cheap couch for the spare room from Bob's Furniture and received better service for less than $1000.

Bought a new mattress and bed frame at the same time and paid in full. Had them deliver it and set it up for me. When they delivered it, they put the bed frame together incorrectly and left parts out which caused damage to the frame from the start. I had to have them come back and put it together correctly with new parts to replace what was damage. Then less than 5 months later the bed was broke again. I called to have a service tech come out to find out that the bed frame completely doesn’t support the mattress. That the middle support legs and support beams were being crushed under pressure. When I reached out to customer service about my concerns, they told me there’s nothing they can do for me but keep ordering replacement parts until the one year warranty runs out and then told me I can just buy a new frame from them as if I would want to buy anything from them ever again. All they care about is sales and not taking care of their customer service needs. They know they sold me a frame that didn’t support the mattress I bought it with and instead of taking care of it or switching it out with a frame that will support it they are using it to their advantage to try and sell me another frame. I spent too much money for a frame that is absolutely garbage and useless to me after only 5 months of use. Go somewhere else if you want quality furniture and people who actually care about your needs. These people care about only one thing. Sales. After that you’re nothing. Don’t expect their furniture to last longer than their 15 day return policy. Their furniture won’t even last the year warranty.

2/2022 Mariya was very helpful. We're looking forward to our new furniture. Update: The couches are comfortable but a seam has torn and one side of the sofa frame is crooked. There is a small tear on the loveseat, too, that has been there since delivery. It’s been several months since we submitted our warranty service request and are still waiting for replacement parts from the supplier. ***** 8/3/23- 9 months after the service request, which was well within the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, we are still waiting. I expected a call with some kind of update after my last phone call to the service department. Today I reached out again and was told the parts might be here later this month. At this point, we should get a product replacement with a non defective product or some kind of credit in addition to the repairs. The service rep said they could not send me a transcript of our chat, so I e-mailed customer service as well for a record. A company is only as good as its customer service quality and follow up. 8/4/23- The customer service rep is forwarding my concerns to management. The parts finally came in 10 months after initial request. The technician was polite and professional. He replaced the ripped section of the couch and touched up the other upholstery issues. The sagging side f the couch where the mechanism was replaced is somewhat improved, but still low. It must be a bent frame issue. We have a 4 year warranty, and after a year of dealing with it but incomplete resolution, will call again in the future.

Edit-14 MORE weeks before they can get someone out to fix the chair. So that "VIP" care.. it's really just...nonsense. It's 'you'll get so annoyed, you'll buy a new one.' And they're right. We ARE going to do that... and we're actually going to be buying furniture for an entire new house, but none of it will come from this place.

It'd be a negative review if I could. Not for the original chair I bought... though, it wasn't great, but I picked it out. That's on me. I got it for my Dad, he's had knee injuries.

I'm just so sick of these stores selling their warranties and saying they're good and they'll cover them.

Again, I got one a recliner for my Dad. He hurt his knee. It stopped working 7-8 weeks ago. I called Steinhafels as I was told they took care of their own warranties.

I eventually got a reply from "ServeCo," which goes right into the spam folder.

Upon getting it, they said they "needed more information.

I literally covered ALL of it on my initial questionaire.

"Is the item plugged in."

Well Jesus, I hadnt' thought of that. I only mentioned I'd plugged and unplugged it multiple times and checked the connection at EACH connector.

-Does the Green light go on. Yup! That's just asking if it's plugged in again.

-Does the engine make noise or is it dead.

I explained we'd started having trouble with it not working and then it'd would start working again...and then finally it broke and it won't move at all and it's not making any sound.

You need more information on THAT? "Does the engine make noise?" Does "NOT MAKING ANY SOUND seem like the same thing as "not making noise?

Between the rental properties we own and the items I've bought for my own house, I've bought 30-40K worth in the last decade. Not a ton, but I'd think it'd be a enough to now screw around over a cheap chair.

But it's not. And my Dad... who sits on that chair so he can put his leg up and ice his knee, now he has to try and tilt the chair down and then force the foot up. That's the technicians advice when he FINALLY made it out here.

Now we're waiting on the part to come and when it does, I guess we give them a call and they fit us in 2 weeks or so down the line.

And that's why I'm looking for a nice new recliner elsewhere. Just.... ridiculous. My Grandmother spend probably tens of thousands there, my Aunts and Uncles have all shopped there. To be fair, I was warned, but I didn't think it'd be this bad.

The Furniture is fine, don't trust them...certainly not beyond...

Worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I purchased a couch and a table for $5,400. I paid with a check. I have $15,000 in my account. A text was sent to my wife and my son from someone who processes their payments stating that they need to process my payment electronically. I gave the ok and it cleared my bank. Today I received an email from Steinhafels stating that they would not deliver my furniture because they don’t have my payment. I called Steinhafels and also sent an email with a copy of my bank statement showing that the money was taken out of my account. They still refused and said that they had called me about a payment issue. I never received a call from Steinhafels and offed to show them my phone log. I called Trans union who processed the check and they verified that it went through. They didn’t care and even told me that it wasn’t them who contacted Trans union. Steinhafels put all the blame on me. I wrote them a check for the $5,400. I have $15,000 in my checking account plus a line of credit of $75,000. I could have written a check for $90,000 and it would have cleared. After all this they called back an hour later to tell me that they did indeed receive my payment. They still refused to deliver my furniture today as was promised when I made the deal. I am a business owner and I am honored every time someone walks through my door and trusts me with their Hearing Health Care needs. Apparently Steinhafels doesn’t share my feelings.

Steinhafels replied to my review. I must correct them. There was never a call from anyone at Steinhafels alerting me to any problem. Rather than depositing my check at the end of the day they outsourced it to a third party. Their third party processor didn’t even call me. They called my son who hasn’t ever been associated with my account. I called them and gave them permission to process my check electronically. They did and the money was taken out of my account. The only direct contact from Steinhafels was an email on the day of delivery stating that there was a problem. I immediately sent them my bank statement showing the withdrawal from my account. They even denied that they had a third party process my check and suggested that I did. I refused delivery the next day because how horribly I was treated . Again they are putting the blame on me when they refused to honor the agreement despite having received my payment. My phone records and bank statement supports...

We ordered two recliners in October 2021 and were told that they would be delivered in January 2022. January came and went with no call from the company until we finally called in February and were told they would be here in March, then when we called again in March we were told end of May, then when called were told August. Finally we canceled one of the chairs and ordered an in stock sectional, the order was delivered and was the wrong one. I called and was basically told I couldn’t speak to the store manger, finally I harassed them enough and was sent to the store manager and was told it was not the “designers” fault but ours, when I gave them very specific information on what way the sectional should face. I was told that they didn’t believe my story because the woman has been a designer for 20 years and there would be a 15% restocking fee and a $150 delivery fee for the correct couch. After arguing with the store manager Able for a half hour I was able to finally get what I originally ordered without the restocking fee and avoiding the delivery fee by going to pick it up ourselves. They picked up the incorrect couch from my house today and my husband went to get the correct one. I confirmed with Able that the order for the correct couch would be ready to pick up instantly after they picked up the incorrect couch. my husband got to the store and somehow there wasn’t an order in the system for the correct ordered of the correct couch. He sat with the store manager to again get what we ordered and finally canceled the second recliner from our original order. I will never deal with this company again, they never reached out to us about the chairs being delayed and we had to call each time to figure out where the two recliners where that we paid for last year were. I was also originally told by the “designer” that I was not allowed to speak to he store manager because he couldn’t help us. When I spoke to the store manager I was told that I couldn’t speak to anyone higher then store manager because there was no one. Had we the company been communicating with us since January and letting us know the delivery was delayed I wouldn’t be so angry, however after all the back and fourth and utter disrespect from the designer and store manger I will NEVER recommend anyone go to Stienhafels for anything! The prices are cheaper at just about any other place in our area with the same quality product and far better...
