I was so terribly disappointed about my experience at this establishment today. I came in and asked for a scratch test on a piece of jewelry to determine whether or not the piece was gold and the ungentleman (I'm assuming he was the owner) behind the counter waved me off as if I was a street urchin. He refused to do a scratch test. When I asked him why he was so reluctant to do a simple scratch test ( It takes less than a minute) his response was I wasting his time, he had 44 years of experience and he didn't need a scratch test to tell him that the piece of jewelry wasn't gold. That may be true but to a novice a scratch test is the only way to know if something is gold or not. So a little customer service could have gone a very long way. But he seemed completely uninterested in providing the simplest of courtesies. I will never walk through that door again. Note to the owner, you are an elderly man. You've been on this planet for a long time. I should not have to tell you that kindness makes this world go round. Shame on you for...

I went here due to the good reviews, what a mistake. I stood and waited for him to talk to me, asked one question, and he jumped down my throat. He told me he couldn't help me for a half hour because he couldn't just drop everything to help me. Now keep in mind, I just asked a question, I didn't ask him to do anything at this point! Needless to say, I left and won't be back. Terrible service. I certainly don't recommend...

Very rude.first, I waited 10 minutes for him to get off the phone with someone that he was discussing VERY personal matters with IN FRONT OF ME. Then, Didn't want to make time for me and basically belittled me out of his store. I went there yrs ago and he treated me well then... now he seems miserable...
