Saratoga Springs Ice Rink — Local services in City of Saratoga Springs

This is a nice rink to see a hockey game at. All seats are up close and views are great. Seats are wooden bleachers, but that's okay. There is a concession stand and vending machine at the entrance to the rink. The Saratoga Springs Boxing Club is also located near the front entrance. There are public skating hours here, you will have to check their hours for that. The Skidmore College hockey team plays here. Admission is free and they play good hockey. I'd like to make this 3.5 stars if I could because I feel that the ice times for pick up hockey are convenient, which is nice for a place like Saratoga where hockey isn't big. The prices are also fair and they're less if you're a SS resident. At the same time, however, the ice itself is pretty soft. We went to Family Skate today and had so much fun!! Entry per person including skate rental was $10. The only negative thing is they don't accept credit cards and they do not have an ATM, which I had no idea of before going. It's not posted anywhere on Google or the ice rink's site, but luckily I had enough cash on me for us to go. They also have traffic cones and milk crates to help beginners learn to skate.
