I had high hopes for this apartment complex. While the apartments are enjoyable, they come at a heavy price. Insufficient and incompetent communication from the front office is the first hurdle. Do not expect to have the customer service that you should expect when renting at a luxury apartment complex. This has been a well known problem amongst the tenants and frankly we are fed up with it. Even individuals in the maintenance staff have agreed that the front desk unprofessional behavior is appalling. You're spending over $2,000 for an apartment- you should be able to expect competent communication from the leasing office. You will not find that here.
Also, expect to overpay for apartments here. Not because they have any worthwhile amenities that make the price bearable, but because they hike the prices up unnecessarily. The 1 bedroom apartments are more expensive than the two bedrooms currently. By a LOT. That's unheard of in any apartment complex around. For context, most two bedroom apartments are exponentially higher in price so that if the market isn't doing well, the prices can be lowered and still remain higher in price than a one bedroom. Not at The Springs. Two bedrooms are currently $1800 while one bedrooms are over $2000.
The amenities are trash. The central air is poor quality and uneven which defeats the purpose of CENTRAL air. Snow plowing takes place LOUDLY at 3 in the morning so forget having a good night's sleep. They use keys for the building entrances instead of FOBs which are a staple proponent of most luxury apartment complexes. Oh and the best part? The walls are THIN. Not just from side to side but underneath you as well.
I've contacted the front office regarding the noisy neighbors and they ignored my emails not once but TWICE. For the amount of money people spend for rent- this is inappropriate and unacceptable. I reached out to the office once more and got an email filled with attitude. Wrong move. Tenants give attitude because they're fed up with incompetence, laziness, inaction, and unprofessionalism. Leasing managers give attitude when they're incapable of doing their job.
It's okay though, I've made sure to write this review on every single review platform I can find so other potential tenants know what they're getting into. So you all can decide if living here is...

Pros: close to exit 15 shopping close to downtown maintenance is on top of their shit (and just a joy to be around.) I think the biggest bang for your buck around here. Some of the other apartments owned by burns are more aesthetically pleasing but the springs I think wins with living space. pet friendly (some people complain about the pet DNA to track dog poop but I love it because it keeps the property pretty clean) with my personal experience, renewing your lease has been fair and easy process and that makes me re-sign send out surveys for tenant opinion on next improvement projects
Cons: -recently switched to a trash valet service and the trash rooms are no longer open to use. The con is that they donāt come Friday/saturday which is when I feel like I have the most trash. You can bring your trash to the back of the building but for me that means lugging it down three floors and then walking/driving. You can also only put your trash outside your door within a certain time frame otherwise you will be penalized. Personally, I feeel like the service is more of an inconvenience than a luxury. I want the trash rooms back -springs implemented a ātech feeā for something that should have been part of a yearly building budget. I still donāt understand what Iām paying for⦠is it the access to the apps I donāt use or is the fob? Which again, feels like an expense that should be wrapped into rent since itās how we access the building and the units -inconsistent garage prices. Living in the retail buildings means you get the option of having a garage space. I pay for a $125 spot but multiple times a year there are promotions for $75, and as a girl that loves a deal, it irks me that Iām paying $50 more. If youāre contemplating a spot, wait until they send a promotional email. I have regrets lol no sidewalk to downtown. Iām a walker and unfortunately the town does not have side walks connecting to downtown. Probably my biggest complaint which isnāt a springs problem, more of a Saratoga...

During my most recent interaction, Maintenance Foreman called me and my dog ādirty and disgusting,ā told me I could āsniff the sinkā of an empty apartment to compare it to mine, and even took photos inside my apartment without my permission. He later claimed he only photographed my sink and dishwasher ā but taking any photos without consent is a complete violation of my privacy. His tone and behavior were completely out of line, unprofessional, and intimidating. As a young woman, I have no doubt he would never have spoken to a male resident this way. To be spoken to like this at any time is unacceptable and a very poor reflection on your organization.
On a Friday night after working all week this is absolutely unacceptable. I was left feeling completely targeted, disrespected, and unsafe in my own home.
To make matters worse, the issue he was supposed to address remains unresolved. Multiple neighbors have the same problem with the sinks, yet instead of fixing it, residents are insulted and blamed.
This isnāt an isolated incident; itās part of a larger pattern of mismanagement and disregard for residents. Work orders are mishandled, closed out without completion, communication is poor, and maintenance often schedules visits without proper notice.
Living here should not feel stressful and uncomfortable due to the behavior of staff who should be maintaining a safe and respectful environment. For the amount of rent charged, this level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. The service has declined over the course...
