Really really happy to have a dispensary back in Stuyvesant plaza!! First off it’s clean and very tastefully decorated and parking is no issue, staff are super friendly, pre-ordering is available. I am not really smoker I prefer edibles, I got 5 items (not pictured was the Incredibles Magnolia Bakery red velvet bar and lemon lime seltzers) The bars (both partnered with Magnolia Bakery who I love) were absolutely delicious, fudgy and smooth, no mock-olate taste, both were smooth in taste and feeling, I really recommend these. The Eaton peach gummies had a nice texture (not too gelatinous)and tasted peachy without being too sweet or sour, again not too heavy just buzzy and light, a nice feel good vibe. The night time chocolate I really liked, the past while I haven’t been sleeping great (perimenopausal) and I wanted to try something other then having to take a zquil, took about 1 hour to kick in, I slept great but the best thing was the next morning I didn’t have that woolly headed feeling sometimes you get with sleep aids. Not pictured are the airloom cans of seltzer, I got lemon lime, easy to bring to a social event, specially if it’s an outdoor drinking event, it’s nice to be able to crack open a can a enjoy, the effect is light and took about 30mins to kick in, light buzz very functioning just relaxed and happy, you don’t get more and more stoned the more you have, I had four and the buzz level stayed the same but lasted, no hangover or negative effects! Prices are good and I really liked the choice and variety they carry. While I am super happy with the products staff recommended, I am also looking forward to trying a few more things, the had cherry cola gummies so I’m going to try them next time, I will also be restocking the seltzers and the magnolia...
Read moreI really like that I no longer have to get my flower from someplace that’s over an hour away from me, and I do really appreciate the hospitality of the bud tenders, but sometimes they can be a bit much and the pricing is also a little ridiculous at times. I only go inside to place online orders, and while I expect a grab and go type service I’m often met with criticisms of my order by the budtenders and lately I can’t seem to leave without them trying to convince me to buy something different. One time I ordered a certain brand, and the bud tender asked me how the bud looked and when I said it looked fine to me, he explains to me that it looked too brown for his taste, but didn’t offer me any substitutions. He basically just told me I was buying mid stuff and made me feel bad about my decision. The last time i went in, the bud tender basically switched up my whole order on me in attempts to save me more money. I had 2 strains that were low in THC specially because my boyfriend can only tolerate low percentages, and he instead took one away to give me a different product that apparently gave me 5g extra then what I would’ve originally been getting. I could’ve been more assertive in my decision of what I ordered, but I honestly just got really flustered and embarrassed and just said yes for the sake of getting it over with. Long stories short, when I go in for an online pickup I don’t really want my options to be questioned when I’m ready to just pay and leave. Maybe If i went through the main line and ordered from the menu I wouldn’t be bothered at all, but now when I go in I just feel like I need to defend my choices...
Read moreNice to have a dispo in toga now. Like other's have mentioned prices are kinda laughable. There are some deals hidden in the menu. Like infused pre roll .5 gram 10$. Sometimes they have 30$ .5 fernway carts. I have seen some decent 1g pre rolls for 8$ to 10$. Edibles sometimes you can find edibles ( gummies ) for 20$ for 100mg. Other than that the prices seem to be priced with the whole tourist vibe in mind. Picture a dispo in lake george. Good for price gouging tourist who are passing through sucks for locals who may or may not frequent the place. The staff is cool no complaints there. The shop seems very generic and impersonal. Not being able to see the flower before buying is a bummer generic menus with stock photos and generic info for all products ( think of what ordering cannabis products off wish or ali express would be like). So everything is kind of a gamble. Another thing I have good amount of loyalty points and you can't even use them for anything yet. The online menu never shows any speacials. Ironically they have the cheapest moonrocks next to upstate canna and canna provisions in mass 2 grams 50$ to 60$. Also the menu includes tax. So I rate it 2 out of 5 for convenience, decent staff but the overall prices and lack of being able to see the flower before buying mixed with higher pricing compared to other in the 518. This reveiw may become a 5 as the store is less than a year old and prices have...
