From start to finish I can't say enough about how great the experience has been working with Home Traditions! Our new kitchen presented several design challenges from exposed timber beams to high cathedral ceilings and the designer not only addressed these challenges but created a design that enhanced the architecture in a way we couldn't have imagined. Once the design was locked in, we received amazing service during both the manufacturing and and delivery phase.

Outstanding service continued during the installation process with Home Traditions staff available any time we had a question and they happily support DIY customers that would like to tackle installation of the kitchen themselves. That support included a trip to the project site (over an hour's drive away) to answer any and all questions regarding the installation.

Home Traditions and Steve Spinelli put an addition on our house. He patiently spent many hours working with us to make sure the plans were exactly what we wanted, needed and expected. Steve was professional in every sense of the word. His communication skills, attention to detail, craftsmanship, creativity, and integrity were outstanding then and continue to be today! Steve turned our old kitchen into a bedroom, added a bathroom, a laundry room and a combined kitchen/family room with a gas fireplace. The fireplace, the focal point of the room, was uniquely designed with a rounded mantle and rounded hearth. It was, and is distinctive and striking! The kitchen/family room is the heart of our home and the foundation of our family time together. The kitchen was beautifully completed with quality maple cabinets, a peninsula with lots of work space and wonderfully bright lighting. We’ve been happy with Steve’s work every day. Though this review is coming long after our kitchen was designed and remodeled by Steve and his team at Home Traditions, we highly recommend them. Though we live an hour south of Syracuse, Steve drove down to our home, sat down with us to go over what we wanted in design and materials, then proceeded to create the kitchen we had dreamed of. We wanted soapstone counter tops, as well as a soapstone farmhouse sink. I might add that this was the year 2000, when soapstone was rarely used in home remodeling. Steve managed to locate a source, his excellent work team cut, sanded, and installed our beautiful countertops, and built or farmhouse sink. Our cabinets look like pickled pine, and the combination with the soapstone is striking! Even after all these years, we continue to get compliments when people enter our home for the first time.
