We stopped by on a cross country trip and were happy we did. Leatherwood is a unique distillery with an extensive selection of creative and interesting products. Their Sweet Feed whiskey is excellent, the Georgia Peach is too, so is the Jalapeno Lemon rum, honestly everything we tried was outstanding. They do encourage samples so you can try before you buy a bottle, or you can buy a flight. And their craft cocktails are phenomenal. I highly recommend the Green Beret. We met the owners and got to hear a bit about the story behind the distillery, which added a personal touch to our visit. The bourbon sample flight was excellent, and the bartender was both knowledgeable and friendly. We also ordered pizza and pretzel bites—both were delicious and hit the spot.

She knew nothing about their product, she misstated a lot of things based on the menu even. She also made a drink wrong, made a old fashion instead of a sour. Garnish was wrong, flavor was 100% old fashion. She argued that its just how they make it. Eventually added some lemon juice to make it sour. I would have purchased a bottle if not for the bartender experience.
