IGA WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOUR ACOUNT AND REFUSE TO REFUND THE MONEY . This store is a scam artist. I was in Friday made a purchase on my debit card . When I asked for my cash back the clerk stated the system went down and I had to run my card again . I showed the clerk the money had been taken from my account and I need my items and cash back . She stated it was a glitch and i have to run my card again or she will not give my items or cash back . After being threatened with the police if I didn't pay again or having the option to leave everything I have already payed for and said cash back . With a manager Insisting this happens all the time I ran my card again and entered my pin. A second charge was made to my account which I showed the manager . He guaranteed it would come off in an hr so I left thinking this seams fishy but ok . Today the second charge is still on my account . I returned to the store to be accounted of my bank causing the second charge and was told they can't and won't do anything till Monday. So now I have the choice to file fraud charges with my bank or go back Monday to deal with the rudest management staff I have ever met . IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHOP HERE DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO FORCE YOU TO RUN YOUR CARD A SECOND TIME . IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SCAMMED JUST...

I share the same view as most people here in Clear lake, the people are nice and helpful and the prices are competitive to other grocery stores in the area. Tonight was a different story all together. I went into the store and went to find what my wife wanted and could not find it. I seen something I wanted other then that grab it and on my way to the front changed my mind and set it down somewhere where I didn't get it. I hurrying to leave and as I was leaving one of the cashier said loud enough for all the customers in lie and all the staff that she should call the police department about me stealing. I stop and said quite embarrassed that I've done no such thing. I had something in my hand she said and that was enough to accuse me of theft. I told her I've done no such thing and opened my jacket and lifted my shirt to show her I had not. I haven't been in there in awhile and she did not. Know me. I wasn't dirty. I think she just wanted to embarrassed me for fun or something. I hope tha very upsetting. This lady needs to be confident in the people she accuses. other people don't get harassed...

The person who helped me in the hot foods never made eye contact. Never said "have a nice night." In fact she was having a conversation with another employee as I paid for my chicken and as she handed me my change. Her conversation was first priority, I was second. Even after I said "THANK YOU AND YOU HAVE A NICE NIGHT ALSO!!!" She STILL didn't look at me. The woman she was talking to, said "thank you and you have a nice night too.". The other woman needs to be trained in proper customer service! It isn't the employee who is doing us a favor by helping us, it's their job. It is the customer who is doing them a favor by going in the store, buying things, which in turn keeps the store open, which then keeps them in a job.
