What a fantastic place! I wasn't planning on going white water rafting when I made my plans to go to East TN, and it turned out to be the highlight of my trip. From the moment I stepped in, the vibes were good. The front desk soul (I think her name is Denise? I just remember she's everybody's mom) was genuine and sweet and helpful. The gift shop has local fare as well as quality merch (comfort colors!). Their clientele reflects the quality of the business - though I came alone instead of with a group, I wasn't made to feel alone. They were there for support. (Can I be like Nancy in a few years?) Everyone had such great energy towards everyone else on the river. This was my first time white water rafting! Jordan was my guide, and I felt completely safe with him. Because of the circumstances of the day, we were able to take it slow and while he made sure we were comfortable with every trick he let us play, and he let us do so many of them! He was knowledgeable about the area as well, dropping fun facts about the place while effortlessly (on my end anyway) scoping out all the fun spots. Something particularly impressive is how respectful he was to all the other rafters - while there were gorgeous moments we mostly had the view of God's amazing mountains to ourselves, obviously we weren't alone out there and he would pull off to the side to minimize the risk of collisions. That's where some of that great energy comes in, so many of the guides acted like best friends. Chaz is a great photographer and he was also very encouraging. We recently had the pleasure of embarking on a thrilling white water rafting excursion with Ace Ocoee Adventure, and I can confidently say it was an experience of a lifetime! From start to finish, the entire trip was impeccably organized and filled with excitement. But what truly made our adventure exceptional was our guide, Micah. Her expertise, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for rafting turned an already amazing trip into an unforgettable experience. Micah’s knowledge of the river and her ability to navigate the rapids with precision and ease was impressive. She ensured that our group felt safe and well-prepared, providing clear instructions and valuable tips throughout the journey. Her infectious energy and positive attitude kept us all motivated and engaged, making even the most challenging sections of the river feel like a breeze. Micah’s stories and fun facts added an extra layer of enjoyment, making the time between rapids just as enjoyable as the thrilling moments in the water. Hands down the best rafting trip I have ever been on. My friend and I were looking last minute to book a trip and had no luck finding availability. One of the companies I called recommended these guys & I am so glad they did. We immediately booked it & was ready to get the day started! We were warmly greeted by all the workers. Ben was our raft guide and was one of the most genuine & fun people I have ever met. He made sure we felt safe the entire time while also making sure we had the time of our lives! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and I felt like I got a whole history lesson on top of a really fun day! The other 2 raft guides on the trip were also outstanding even though they weren’t on our boat they were looking after us to make sure we all made it down safely. Another thing I loved about this company is that they didn’t squeeze us on a raft with another group. They allowed it just be the two of us and our guide, which was great. I felt very safe the whole time even with the current COVID situation going on in our world. I would recommended this company to anyone and everyone. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
