Euclid Beach — Local services in Cleveland

I wish I can give zero stars.

I strongly recommend anyone who is considering to move here to never do so. I currently live here with my father, caring for him. This place is ran by a company called Fairstead, a horrible housing company that really needs to kick rocks and sell the property to someone who will do a better job. The moment they came into the picture is when things started going down hill. I have lost a flat screen to the incompetent movers they hired during a renovation in 2021 and was never reimbursed for it.

There are older people who stay here alone that tend to fall asleep and cause a lot of fires from leaving food in the oven or plugging surge-protectors TO OTHER serge protectors. But not only do you have fires to deal with, you'll most likely be affected by water damage from the sand pipes. And if you don't have renter's insurance you are sol.

And if we don't have issues with fires then there's bed bugs, roaches, mice, and rats and that stems from the company or someone in management refusing to pay the trash company to collect the garbage in a timely fashion causing all the compactor rooms on all sixteen floors to clog up.

Then we always have issues with the AC as management seems to be unable to keep it running properly rendering all of us to suffer in humidity and heat or in the winter purposely having the water luke-warm with low pressure when it's freezing cold.

I don't know who's running this place but they aren't running it well. We are all being abused here, not getting the accommodations we were promised yet these people continue to raise our rent.

Do not move here, do not move your loved one's here. You're better off living in a motel or the shelter, it's that bad here.

The only good thing here is the park next door and the beach but even then that isn't enough to make me stay and once I have an opportunity to...

We visited on the 4th as we were in town for a baseball game. We pulled up to the park and it was nice to see dozens of families gathered for barbecues. That area seemed nice, bathrooms were clean, bike path looked nice, pier was nice. This is the reason for 2 stars. I know there is a whole lot we didn't see...another reason for the second star. But when we walked the beach....I was disgusted. I'm surprised that this is a city park! I wouldn't swim in the water, but I don't fault anyone for that. Lake water isn't something you can manage. But the trash on the beach is! I was walking through empty capri suns, bottle caps, napkins, you name it! And there were people around not even bothered by it. Clearly this is just how it is? I visited because this place had such good reviews. Hopefully someone from the city sees this and gets this beach cleaned up, it could be a great place to visit. I am very disappointed in the way this building is being ran in the management I told them about a person that had got their packages stolen I have a ring camera on my front door that captured the person that stole it and was treated as if I was bothering them nothing has been said to let me know that they were handling it other than to write it down and to put it in writing for them I cannot believe how poorly this building is being ran the elevator is never cleaned the floor is filthy not only that but they don't even mop the hallways or should I say they might be always once a week I don't know I don't know what else to really say I realize that we're living in subsidized housing and I appreciate that fact but the fact that they don't take care of the building and they treat the residents as if we should be thankful that they're working there...
