I recently helped a family member with the selection process of assisted living facilities in the Cleveland, TN area. We ultimately decided on Legacy Village. It was a great decision. It was easy to see just how nice the facility and grounds are during a tour. It is not so easy to see or understand how the staff will treat your loved one once moved into a facility.

From the director down, this team at Legacy is incredible. The genuine love and caring of the staff blew me and my loved one away on an hourly basis. The level of expertise from the nurses and cnas on Legacy staff makes a real difference as well. Unfortunately, my loved one faced several health emergencies during her stay,, the head nurse and floor nurses were absolutely locked in and engaged. The assitants and caregivers were so helpful hour upon hour whenever needed. Several caregivers and cnas would visit my loved one after their shift just to help her keep positive and to help her feel loved. I promise you, I will never forget these acts of utter kindness. The food service staffers were positive, polite and eager to help as well.

Legacy Village

After my father passed away, my mother realized she needed a little help with her day to day activities and decided to look into an assisted living facility. I knew immediately I wanted her to live at Legacy Village of Cleveland. We had a friend that lived there and we had visited her in the past so I knew it seemed like a great place from the outside. Now, that we have been on the inside for a few months, I know it’s just as great. The staff there is top notch. They meet her every need. I can rest assured that she is safe and taken care of in the best way possible. Mom recently had a hip replacement. She can get PT and OT right there, without having to leave the facility and get to appointments. That’s such a great benefit for her and for me. Literally anything she needs is inside that building. She has enjoyed the sweet community she has made there, as well as the activities they provide consistently. Unbelievable place. Trying to find a place where my parents can be together, even though my mom needs full-time medical care and my dad can take care of himself for the most part. I know if my mom were somewhere on her own, my dad would be driving every day to see her. Finding Assisted Living facilities is an answer to prayer. And Legacy Village is BEAUTIFUL. It's like a Gatlinburg or Lake Tahoe style cabin, with beautiful views. The staff are so nice and the residents seemed genuinely happy to see them as we toured. There are so many activities, it really is like being on a landlocked cruise ship. They encouraged us to speak to the residents (unlike one place, where a resident literally told us to run and the nurse hovered above him to keep him quiet ... YIKES).
