CLINT LAUNDROMAT — Local services in Clint

This laundromat is always busy, but the owner is in every afternoon and evening to clean and make any repairs. It is a really good laundry to go to. It's generally busy, but there are plenty of washers and dryers. Some places will set the dryers so you have to spend all day putting quarters in them! Not this place! I've never had a problem at the Clint Laundromat. Once, my husband put a $20 bill in the change machine and got back $1.25 in quarters! I picked up my phone to call the number they keep on the wall for just such an occasion and the owner said, "are you calling me?" LOL He immediately opened the coin machine and returned our money. The machines are always in working order and clean. Once in a While there may be a glitch and a machine takes a quarter. It is promptly returned. I don't want to wash my clothes anywhere else. There are snack and drink machines supplied. There is a machine that dispenses detergent and softener if you need them. There are three change machines. The bathroom is clean. The wash/pre-treatment station is clean. The floors are clean. The trash cans are emptied and tidy. I have seen with my own eyes the owners cleaning, tidying and repairing to keep their laundromat in tip top shape. There are no single load machines. Double, triple and quadruple load capacity only. Double load is $2.75. Triple load is $3.50 Quadruple (it may hold five loads) is $4.75 or $5. I use all three sizes. The dryers are 25¢ for 8 minutes. Three quarters and your clothes are dry. It's a calm cool environment. The prices of the washers vary from $2.25 to $2.75 depending on the size of the washer. All dryers start off with .25¢ for every 6 to 8 minutes. A restroom is available. There is a rinsing station. A soda and snack machine is also available for a quick snack or drink. There is also Free WiFi, which is awesome! A place to fold your laundry and sitting areas are also available while wait for your loads to finish. Security cameras are also visible which made me feel safe while being present. The machines and everything work really well in here and never fail to do the job. I am rating two stars because when I walked in, people were not wearing their masks. I called the owner with the phone number left available in here. They said they were not going to mandate mask for their customers and that it was up to them even though it is a county order at the moment. Really negative...
