This review is NOT regarding the doctors but the office manager of the spa! Dr. I is AMAZING at what he does and I would give him 5 Stars! This review is about the office mgr Renee who, unbeknownst to her, I could see her face in the mirror behind/to the side of the reception desk yesterday as she whispered and rolled her eyes about patients!

While waiting to see Dr. I, Renee was speaking with another customer about various procedures. After the customer was escorted back by one of the estheticians, Renee turned to speak to another Derma Spa employee but instead of “speaking,” she began mouthing words and did this for approximately 2 minutes! It was EVIDENT she was “talking about someone” (exactly who, I AM uncertain) but if you are just having a conversation with someone, you “use words” and don’t “mouth & whisper” to others (IN FRONT of other customers). After finishing her conversation, Renee turned to me, said hello, turned back around and rolled her eyes at the same employee she had been speaking to a moment prior!

I’ll be honest and up front, Renee does not like me as I have called to report a prior incident I witnessed from her! My daughter had just finished a procedure and we witnessed Renee yell at an esthetician in front of everyone in the reception area. After having managed women in the past, I’m certain that it’s inappropriate to yell at employees in front of customers so I did call to complain as it made both myself and my young daughter uncomfortable (not to mention the esthetician!).

I did call to complain today but it appears the office mgr over both the Dermotology side and Derma Spa wants to cover for Renee as she immediately said that I “completely misunderstood” and Renee was talking about a customer and didn’t want others to hear the name 😂😂😂😂😂 So...it took Renee 2 full minutes to whisper the person’s name and when she rolled her eyes, she must have developed a sharp pain in her neck and it caused her eyes to roll into the back of her head?!? Come on! Regardless of what Renee was saying or about who, if you’re going to WHISPER, take it to your office or around the corner!!!!!! When I managed girls, no one ever WHISPERED in front of customers - doesn’t look good Elena!!!

I will possibly continue to see Dr. I for my Botox as he does an amazing job but I can ASSURE you that I will never again bring my daughter to Derma Spa for her monthly peels and/or microdermabrasion!!! This was a great spa at one time, it’s sad that management doesn’t see employees for how they REALLY behave and makes excuses for...

Best spa experience hands down!!! Have been going here for years and I have to say I always have a great experience. Whether it’s scheduling an appointment, coming in for treatment or advice on facial products. I’m always greeted by courteous and friendly staff, they always go the extra mile to help me with products and accommodate my schedule.
