I was greeted when I walked in the door and staff was friendly. The waitress took me (the only black person in the restaurant) to the back. She asked me what I would like and service was fast. As I sat there a minute I looked around and did not initially want to blame my seating on race. The waitress brought the food back to me immediately. I heard dishes slamming behind me in a clean up station near me that startled me. The waitress stated "you are in the front of the restaurant." I looked around and stated "no I am in the back of the restuarant facing the street and there is no one else back here, but me, this is not the front." This can't be the front. I decided to leave right away because it felt racist to me. I am not aware if the owner knows about these types of occurances, but maybe your waitress should not isolate people of color to certain parts of the restaurant when they come in. Racism crossed my mind when she placed me in the back, but I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt. When she told me I was in the front, it reminded me of Jim Crow! So the waitress' rational was she put the only black person in the (so called) front and all the whites in the back of the restaurant. The waitress' statement just didn't make sense to me. Read moreStopped here on 11-26-23 to enjoy a few cups of coffee. . I paid my bill + tip and was just finishing up my last refill.
Suddenly some unknown man appeared at my table and stated " Sir are you going to order any food?"
I replied, no thank you just the coffee. The man then told me " You need to leave, you've been here too long!
I replied, sure can I finish my coffee. The man told me "to do it quickly and then I had to go!"
The man's supposed reasons were there was a line at the door and they were in need of my table.
As I left the restaurant, I noticed plenty of available seating and the line at the door was literally 2 people.
The rudeness and unprofessionalism of this man had me awestruck. The audacity to kick a paying customer out, just to turn over a table just blew me away.
I left a voice mail with their corporate office and a written message via their website and unfortunately no one has taken the time to contact me to resolve the issue. Looks like the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree.
I've eaten meals here a couple time and have always been pretty satisfied, but after this experience you've permanently lost me as a customer. I hope it was worth it. ...
Read moreI've ordered from here multiple times and I've had issues time after time and I keep ordering and giving them my money and chance after chance to make it right and today the supposed owner yelled at me so loud that my husband had to take the phone I just don't understand if you order your food a certain way and it doesn't come that way the way you ordered it are you supposed to pay for that? I just don't think you pay for something that isn't the way you ordered it. You either get your money back or get it remaid, and when do you yell at a customer? I thought you were nice to the customer and that no matter how happy the customer is always right, idk I just feel like customer service here has just gone down The fact that today the owner was yelling at me cause I called because I was missing a side of chili so I called to get a side of chili that mind you cost what maybe 2.00 dollars and if you pay for something you expect to get it just plain bad customer service. Also to be told not to order from this restaurant ever again by the owner when I spend hundreds of dollars here a month I am terminally ill and this is the closest...
