Zestia Greek Street Food — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I've been wanting to try this place & finally got the chance to do so. This particular location was really clean & the employees were very courteous, helpful & professional. I got their protein bowl with chicken, rice pilaf, red onion, garlic sauce & zesta feta sauce. I didn't feel their bowls had as much content as some of the other places I've gotten similar bowls at & I kind of thought for the $14.99 price, there'd be a little more to it. Don't get me wrong, the flavors were delish as well as the taste, along with the freshness of everything in the bowl as well, it's just that I expected more contents. My friend got their Greek Salad, which she was was as equally delish as my chicken bowl, loaded with fresh veggies & their pink greek dressing. Fortunately, I was there to witness this man’s (Tony’s)poor review left last. He walked in after me and sat down at a table. Now at Zestia you don’t sit down, you get stand at the front and the employees help you move down the line to make your food item. Tony was greeted and asked if he has a pick up since he was sitting. Then a women and her child walked in line and Tony got up to make a scene. He was upset she cut in front of him and the employees did “nothing, and he wasn’t coming back”. How said the poor little girl got to see a grown man cry about “cutting” when he was sitting as if he should be served. The employees handled this maturely and every one kept to themselves since nothing was done wrong. On another note food was good and service was great! Remember...

The food is excellent but the carryout service leaves a lot to be desired. They never meet the projected time. Most recently, I arrived to pick up my order at the appointed time and it was not ready - no surprise, but the problem is that 5 different customers came in after me and ordered at the counter, and received their food before they even started making mine, despite being asked my name when I first came in. Writing this review as I am still waiting to pick up my order, going on 20 minutes after the scheduled pick up time. And I am not the only pickup customer in this situation.
