First off ..the remodel looks nice ! Nice gift area..as Cloverdale doesn't.have much of any place else for gift items !! Having a long history.outselves..in the grocery business so we.understand the.price.point...there are some things we think could change..but it's not our intention to tell you how to do your business except to say..you have the rudest employee's ..or maybe they are the worst trained ! The older woman never greeted.us..never even made eye contact with us ! NOTHING...big FAT ZERO..we we're not impkrimpo to her..which converts to ...people saying I DON'T even know why I shop.there..I DON'T think I ever will again..I'm telling you..it's ruining your business !! Well I hadnt been to this Rays in like ten years, but when I was in there the other day, the stores shelves had precisely 11,210 overpriced sodas in the cooler section. A bottle of coke cost OVER 3 dollars. Any other grocery store, i dont care about inflation, is going to have your run of the mill bottle of Coca-Cola for less than $3 bucks each.
I am outraged. And in the seriousness of leaving an honest review, the store is RUN DOWN and was super grimey from the condition of the floors to the dirty soda shelving. Lot of items out of stock as well and a product display i saw was cometely empty and halfway falling over.

Read moreEight dollars for a bag of snap peas. EIGHT. DOLLARS. The same brand at Lucky is $3.99. Poor selection - no pita bread in the bread aisle. Low stock - barren kombucha section (which was also overpriced). Ladies' bathroom smells like farts (though it was clean) and censors in the bathroom barely work.
Only positives are that the workers were super nice and helpful (when asked where a product was, the gentleman actually walked us a ways away to the product instead of just indicating an aisle/area) and the store looks nice.
Will be avoiding this place in the future. Should've gone to the nearby...
