We booked with Cocoa very last minute as our original kayaking tour fell through. Calling was the only way to do it, but the conversation and booking was cordial and very easy. Confirmations were texted and emailed and the waiver was simple to access.

Not only does the company have the ‘yaks, paddles, and lifejackets, they also had dry bags if you needed one. They set up right near where we were going to launch today with clear branding so we knew we were with the right folks.

Logan was an amazing guide. He provided all the necessary disclaimers and such before we departed. My partner and I were in a tandem and another couple was in two singles. Logan was on a paddleboard and kept an eye on everybody. He asked us what we were most interested in seeing as we had two route options depending on what we might want. We ended up going through the mangroves and also took some time to check out a sandbar and spend some time in the water.

It was a fantastic day to see manatees and so he would give us a head’s up if one went under our boat that we didn’t see (don’t hit the sea cows!) and also pointed out wildlife along the way. He is incredibly knowledgeable of the Florida ecosystem (flora and fauna) and has a clear respect for conservation. We got to see horseshoe crabs, a sea walnut, hermit crabs, manatees, an American alligator, a moon jellyfish, and an anhinga. I am probably missing other things (he did see a tarpon and a couple rays that I didn’t see), but suffice to say, the man knows his stuff.

Overall, we would be happy to use Cocoa Kayaking again next time we are in Florida with the time to go on...

My best friend and I had one major goal on our bucket list: kayaking through bioluminescent waters. We’re so happy we chose to book with Cocoa Kayaking; the experience was absolutely unforgettable, and the team made it even better. When we first tried to go, Captain Mike made the smart call to cancel due to severe storms. While we were initially slightly disappointed, we really appreciated his caution and care for everyone's safety (especially after seeing how bad the weather actually got). Thankfully, Josh worked with us to reschedule, helping us pick the perfect night for our adventure. When the day finally arrived, we were beyond excited and it did not disappoint! The glowing waters were magical. Captain Mike was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating facts about the bioluminescent algae and comb jellies. He was also warm, personable, and great with everyone in the group, including some very energetic kids! A big thank you also goes to Josh t The receptionist. We had to call a few times with questions and rescheduling needs, and he was always friendly, helpful, and clearly experienced. His support made the whole process smooth and stress free. This experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The beauty of the bioluminescence speaks for itself, but it was the kindness and professionalism of the Cocoa Kayaking team that truly made it special. I can’t recommend them enough!

Once again, I want to thank Captain Mike and Josh for everything they did for us. We are so thankful for this experience, and if we ever visit again, we will definitely look into doing...

I am back to work today (booo) and able to really have some time to wrap around all that I encountered this past weekend; much of the excitement and pleasure was from Genevieve's guided mangrove and manatee tour Saturday. 1st, it was so awesome that she had everything prepared, such as the kayaks and water and power aide and sunscreen and even a hat for me to use! It was a beautiful day and couldn't have asked for a better group. Being just 4 of us, it gave us time to explore and enjoy serenity a bit. I loved the mangrove tunnels. Genevieve brought us into places I would have never known existed if I were on my own. Wish I could spend an entire day just going through those mangroves! After the amazing mangrove tour, we went out to the open water, which was so serene, all my worries didn't exist. We made our way to a place Genevieve thought would be ideal for us to see some manatees and I thought "ah, we're not gonna see any." However, after about 10 minutes, there was 1, then another, then she took us to a little cove where 3-4 of them started to swim around and under our kayaks! Awesome! I've never been that close to a manatee before. I've lived in Florida all my life and never had a tour be so real and genuine and let you be yourself. I've never been so close to nature and it was a definite 1st for me for seeing a few things in Florida's awesome environment. Cocoa Kayaking and Genevieve really is a pro at this and has this down to a science. It's the best "adventure" I've been on to date! Thanks so much for your...

Susie was an amazing tour guide! This was my first time kayaking and like others have said I want to start kayaking because of this experience. We were able to see 10-15 manatees and a few dolphins. My boyfriend and I definitely had an amazing time and it was the highlight of our vacation.
