Dollar General — Local services in Colchester

I tend to stop at this Dollar General Store twice a week and I have to say that if it were not for their low prices I would go elsewhere :-( unable to get up and down Isles during every visit do to there is always a restock cart in the way and it doesn't just happen in one aisle it is usually five or six Isles that are blocked :-( also when you go up to check out many times you have to wait for cashier :-( no worker in sight you just stand there and wait and wait and wait other times one cashier working and one standing off to the side doing nothing while there is a huge line and every person has a complete basketful of items :-( workers are always very very polite and helpful and I don't think it is their fault it seems to me they need more workers and restocking shelves should be done at night so that all those carts are not left in the way of shoppers. Also items are always on the floor in the aisles and you cannot pass your cart through do to mess :-( but as I said I keep coming back to this store due to the low prices and each time I say to myself I am not coming back...

I do Dollar General for a few things. Definitely cards. I think cards are a waste of money but they have a good selection so if someone throws it out, ehh a dollar wasted. I like when they have garden things. I bought a cute bird house pig here. Nice addition to my yard. We like to stock up on candy for movie night. And.. when the kids have projects the supplies are cheaper here so when throw out you don't feel your money going down the drain. Little better quality that Dollar store,but not much different. I had just stopped in to a new Dollar General in a different area. To get a gallon of milk. It wasn't any different than any of the other Dollar Generals it was a pig pen stuff piled up in the aisles in the emergency exits and in the bathroom area. Went in to use the bathroom you have to get a key for what no toilet paper. Paper towels on the floor no soap to wash your hands filthy. What is management doing about any of it .they'd all have to use the bathroom when they are working what does that tell you. Hand washing no I don't think so. What a way to spread a virus!...
