My husband makes beautiful quilts and gifts them to for members of both our families. He's been making them for about 4 yrs. He has always brought them here to be quilted on their Long Arm machine. He has recently finished a Double Wedding Ring quilt. It took him almost 3 months. He wanted it to be perfect for my nephew's Wedding gift. He dropped off the quilt and we waited for the call that it was finished. Well, to say he was Heart Broken is putting it mildly! The person who operated the Long Arm was VERY NEGLIGENT. SHE QUILTED OVER NUMEROUS WRINKLES. EVEN THE BORDER WAS MESSED UP. She tried to give my husband a 20% refund ! He was SO upset and told her he didn't want the money. SHe RUINED A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING GIFT !! He is very, very hurt and upset over this. We have NEVER had this problem before. He's made over 40 quilts for family. Always brought them here. THIS PARTICULAR WOMAN RUINED A BEAUTIFUL QUILT !!! My name is Mary Self and they all know my...
Read moreBest quilt shop in Cincinnati. My wife and daughter love the variety and quality of fabrics and supplies. Diane, the owner, has a real passion for quilting and helping others learn how to quilt. They have these quilting kits that are great for kids to learn on and my daughter really loves them. They also have quilting classes and tons of other stuff that even a non-quilter like me, is impressed by. As an extremely masculine dude I may not be the best judge... but the place appears to be a creative, fun and a festive place where women can have a great time working on quilts together, or finding their next quilting or craft project. I even found a few small kits for my boys for them to learn how to sew... since this is a skill everyone should have some competency in. I think they have a fairly high end fabric called Moda there, for those who are interested. Overall, a high class shop with friendly service and...
Read moreThis fabric store was recommended to me by a friend for having my quilt top quilted. The quilter, Gwen, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly AND, more importantly, put a mask on as soon as I entered her area, which IS currently a state mandate. However, NONE of the workers in the fabric area were wearing masks, which is non compliant with the state mandate. Thankfully, all of the customers were masked up. I just about turned and walked out of the store and gathered up my quilt materials, but I realized there was no issue with the quilter. What makes these women think that the STATE MANDATE does not apply to them?!? I will never return to this fabric store, and do NOT...
