What an experience! Showed up on time for our 1pm appt this past Saturday. Our group consisted of the Bride to be, MOB, Aunt and 2 bridesmaids. We were greeted nicely and told to find dresses we wanted to try on. For reasons unknown to the 5 of us, the appt went downhill from here. None of us remember the ladies giving us their names, so one had blonde and one had dark brown hair. The young lady with the dark hair was nice. It seems like she was new and didn’t exactly know what to do but, at times, she tried. The blonde, on the other hand, was annoyed that we were there. It was obvious from the first dress tried on. When this lady opened the curtain to the dressing room she would make an obvious sigh and roll her eyes as she walked out. She did it every single time. We were all in disbelief and couldn’t understand why. I actually have it on video when I was recording the bride in one of the 5 dresses she tried on. When we would make comments about what we liked/disliked about the dresses, the ladies just stood there and offered nothing in response. We sat in silence. It was so awkward and uncomfortable. There were so many beautiful dresses online but I can’t say that any were in the store except for one, but it was only in a size 20 and they wouldn’t put it on her saying it would swallow her. We thought bridal dress shops had clips for that, but if they did, they weren’t willing to get them out. It’s a shame because it was a beautiful dress that we had high hopes for. So after the last dress, the bride put her clothes back on and when she walked out of the dressing room the blonde had the front door opened for us to leave. No discussion, nothing. The appt took less than an hour and was a huge disappointment for our first appointment trying on wedding dresses. We then left and went on to our next appt in The Woodland’s (BB) and arrived early. This appt was completely different, a night and day comparison. It was amazing and the experience that every bride to be deserves and we are so grateful for it. We felt like we had just been at a thrift shop and were now at Saks Fifth Ave. We were treated so nice and actually had conversation with the sweet lady helping us. We talked about what we liked and didn’t like plus changes we might make. After 5 dresses and 2 hours she said “YES TO THE DRESS!” Jackie was amazing and helped make our time there wonderful. Milena's Bridal boutique is a unique experience. They have so many beautifully detailed dresses made from high quality fabrics. Very knowledgeable and caring.

Years ago, a dreamy eyed young woman saw a magazine picturing this enchanting gown! Many years down the road that dreamy eyed girl (me) got engaged! And began the hunt for that gown. (Thanks Pinterest 😊) I finally found it! So I thought. The online store refused to send any fabric samples. I was so hesitant to order and deal with return shipping if it wasn't what I thought it would be. I asked for actual photos of the gown. It was a fake, cheaply made, and deceiving😭. I looked into having it made, they other designs didn't want to make the same dress I fell in love with. I tried on other gowns from other stores, they told me I wouldn't be able to find the gown in my budget and nothing compared to the unique gown I dreamt of. I was loosing hope. Months down the road.... I scanned the picture from Pinterest. Low and behold MILENA'S!!! This boutique had it in one of their stores! My jaw dropped!

I called Luba (owner) being I was driving two states away. She confirmed they had it! It was my size! In my budget! The actual dress I'd been dreaming of, I could go there, try it on and feel the fabric!!! She even drove an additional two hours to take the gown to a closer location for me. I scheduled an appointment! Called my sisters! Wrangled my mother and niece. Texas here we come!

The day of... Introductions were made, we had the boutique all to ourselves! No sales pushes or rushed times. It was truly an incredible experience! Luba and her assistant were so warm, professional and caring. Luba has so much knowledge, I felt comfortable asking her questions about the gown without feeling she was trying to make a sale. The things I didn't even think of, she already did! Like a veil! The gown was beyond what I imagined! The quality, the experience! My mother cried! I cried! There was so much love in that boutique! Truly the best wedding dress experience. I said YES!!! to the dress!!! Y'all, this boutique was so worth the drive! I'd do it again in a heart beat. Pictures to come after the wedding

I had a WONDERFUL experience with Milena's Bridal. From the moment I stepped in the door, I felt significantly less stressed about trying to find a dress for my wedding.

Dress Selection - Firstly, the dress selection Milena's has is INCREDIBLE! When scrolling through wedding dresses online, I found myself liking more unique and specialty dresses. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to find a shop so close with the types of dresses I was looking for - especially a shop so small. But it was perfect! There were many options I was debating between!

Shopping Experience - If you're expecting lots of dramatics and a recreation of a "Say Yes to the Dress" episode then this might not be the experience for you. You schedule an appointment for just you and your party so you're not distracted or made self-conscious by a crowd of strangers nearby. You are not shoved into a dressing room with a ton of dresses your consultant just wants to sell. You are given time and space to peruse the dresses at your own pace and aren't forced into styles you have no interest in. You are not pressured into buying something or force-fed a bunch of fake compliments to get you out the door. Instead, you get a calm space for your party to deliberate and think clearly. Additionally, the dresses are well-priced and I ended up finding my dream dress very quickly!

Pickup & Alterations - Not only was I given an email confirmation with a picture of my dress and measurements, but the ETA time of arrival was spot on! I was notified by email and text as soon as my dress came in and once again you are given the whole space to try on and examine your new dress. You are not rushed but encouraged to take your time to make sure you are satisfied.
