I have been using Novacich's off and on for almost 2 decades. There prices are not the best but not the worst either. Their quality I have always found to be excellent. I can only name two complaints I have ever had: 1) it is a small market and very popular so sometimes you have to wait a while to be served (they usually have 4 or 5 people helping so I know they cannot afford more because of slow times); and 2) do not go there shortly before closing, if they think they will not be finished with you by closing, they will not let you in (I am not sure this is official policy or just the workers but it has happened to me on two occasions). I will say the service is great once you are being served, they package exactly as you desire (number of cuts per wrapping), they wrap in butcher paper so the product lasts much longer in the freezer without freezer burn, and they are very courteous and patient (I tend to only go about once every 3-4 months and buy $500-$600 at a time so I do a bit of browsing especially if I had no wait to be served). I have access to a military commissary where prices are presently about 1/2 of any grocery store or meat market in the area, but I still buy almost all buy my chicken breasts and hamburger at Novacich's. It...
Read moreI found Novacich while in town, from Texas, recently. I have now cooked half of the meats I bought, and I am just about out of Pete’s Seasoning.
Y’all! This season is incredible. I wish you did mail order or sold it on Amazon (I searched). I am going to divert my next trip to get more!
We bought 5 or 6 different flavors of brats. I believe that they have 27 different flavors or so. Each one we bought were delicious. (Mail order - hint hint). Steaks were delicious, too.
Service? Second to none! Very personal service pointing out what they had to offer. I think the owner was who showed us around. He was very proud of what they offered. It was easy to tell. And he should be!
I recommend running, not walking, to Novacich. I will be speeding in from Texas as...
Read moreThe meat is alright, but their customer service is AWFUL and no person should shop here if they want spoken to with any kind of common courtesy. Sad that we can’t shop here just for fear of how THEIR employees can make a customer feel, this is NOT the “shop local” I would support, as they treat the public like garbage and still expect us to buy their product. Luckily for me, I’ve found a REAL meat market and they DO CUSTOMER SERVICE WAY BETTER THAN THIS COMPANY. Do better, get...
