Cuttin-Up — Local services in Collinwood

I have always gotten my hair cut here by Tonya. When she started taking more time off, i had to eventually get a cut so I made an appt. with Abby Horton. I didn't know if I would like her. I usually don't do well with change. Leg me tell you, I'm sp glad I did get Abby. I loved the cut, color and style for such a reasonable price. I am so beyond blessed to live in a rural area where we have Small Businesses who take care of their customers on such a personal level. I know there are lots of other great stylists out there, some in big cities (at least bigger than C'Wood, trust me any city is bigger than C'Wood 😂) and they probably have certain clients that they treat well because they know they tip well or they are a continuous client or whatever... But now, let me tell you about Abby Horton... Y'all, she is amazing... Such a sweetheart, fabulous at her job. I was scared to death going in because I had not had a cut in a very long time and needed some cut but didn't want my hair to end up really short. Usually, when I've been to a stylist for the 1st time and getting a cut like that, they end up cutting it up to my ears. Abby didn't do that. She literally asked how much I wanted off and she had me watch her cut and she would stop and ask if she needed to cut more or stop. I loved my highlights and color, which I had NEVER had on my hair at all... She made me feel AMAZING. You have ro try her if you can. 10 out of 10 every day...

Moved here 3 years ago we (mom lives with me now) have tried so very many shops-here & surrounding counties! I'm not picky at all but my mom is (she has a very short hairstyle so she has to be a bit picky) Just want to let everyone know that we agree & WE CHOOSE: Shawna & her crew @ Cuttin up Collinwood! What we like best: the friendly atmosphere, they listen to your wants, & then they get it done! Prices being on point...

I love Shauna and she's the best at what she does, I've never had anyone do so good with my hair!! I would recommend Cuttin UP to everyone they're all very friendly, they're prices are really good, and let's face it they're great at what they do!!! I haven't spoiled myself in a long while and went to Cuttin UP, but I'm going to be going real soon and I wouldn't go...
