TAKE. MY. MONEY.
I don’t know what kind of wizardry the team at Codebusters is doing behind those escape room walls, but my son and I are officially obsessed.
We tackled the Stranger Things Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 rooms and WOW — it was like stepping into the Upside Down, but with better lighting and fewer demogorgons. The set design was next level — every corner was packed with creepy nostalgia and eerie surprises. At one point I jumped so hard I momentarily questioned my survival instincts.
We escaped both rooms, one with 13 seconds to spare, which is exactly how long my soul hovered outside my body before it returned in time to fist-bump my kid. Speaking of my son — he was living for the secret doors. Every time one opened, it was like watching a kid discover hidden treasure... or at least a portal to maximum hype.
And the teamwork? Flawless. It brought us closer, made us sharper, and reminded me that solving puzzles with your kid is top-tier bonding material. We left breathless, laughing, and already planning our next visit.
If you haven’t been to Codebusters yet, go. Go now. Get startled. Get clever....

The room was set for us to go right in, our guide was prompt, patient and kind. We needed lots of help and it was so timely and she encouraged us the whole way, I think she guided us (and we needed and wanted it). We love doing escape rooms and are learning we love the clues that come along with them and we didn’t feel like a burden or problem when we finished. She even helped us see how it would’ve ended. Highly recommend this location and company! Thank you for your patience and help, it was fun and we recognize we were likely a lot of work for you but you didn’t make us feel like...
Read moreWe recently tackled Stranger 80s: Volume 1, and it was a solid experience. The room immediately caught our attention because Volume 2 is available at their second location, and we couldn’t resist starting with Volume 1.
I did this room with one other person, and as seasoned escape room enthusiasts, we found it both enjoyable and appropriately challenging. The 80s theme was well-executed, with a nice mix of décor and music that created a nostalgic atmosphere. The variety of puzzles kept things interesting without feeling repetitive.
I’d highly recommend Stranger 80s: Volume 1 to anyone looking for a well-designed, nostalgic escape room adventure. We’ve already booked Volume 2 and can’t wait to see what it...
