Well, the food is not bad. Their salads are good and fresh. Their slices are fairly good, except they are pretty skimpy with cheese and sauce. They have a lunch special under $10, which is also a plus. My reason for giving it only one star is the horrible and immature attitude that the manager displayed today. I found a large piece of bone with a sharp edge under the cheese on my pizza. Thankfully it was big enough that I immediately found it upon taking a bite. If ingested this could have caused serious issues with the sharp point. I showed it to the manager so that he could be aware and he said , "that's impossible" and turned and walked away. I had already finished my meal and certainly was not looking for a comp, but for customer safety he needed to know this and check through their meats. I went back up to him and said that this was quite serious and could be a real hazard and he gave me the cold shoulder again and walked away. Thank God I did not swallow it or break a tooth. And thankfully a child did not get that particular slice. If it was just an employee, I could see how they may be young and not understand the need for customer care diplomacy and ensuring safety, but this was the actual manager, so I don't feel safe to go back there again. Decent food and prices don't override...

First time there, and really hate to say, but maybe my last time, as well. My family and I walked in, and was immediately greeted. We asked about seating, by saying "first time here, do we seat ourselves..." They immediately said thank you and welcome. (Nice and warm feel goods about this place.)

When I came time to order, I specified cheese pizza with half mushroom, and the rest of the orders. First time, I got pepperoni--I mentioned that it was incorrect, said 'half cheese, half mushroom' and they apologized. Second time, they came back with half pepperoni and half mushroom, they apologized again. Third time is the charm I guess, finally got half cheese, half mushroom. The wait was an additional 30 minutes in total. And these 30 minutes was painful because the pizza was for the kids.

I've been here for years, and finally tried this place. When it came to the service, I was disappointed. The pizza tasted: okay. Something was missing, and I can't place my tongue on it. For the price and the service, I could go elsewhere. For the taste, I think there are better options in town.

The atmosphere was nice: very homey and comfortable. I would bring the whole family it were 5 people or less (not much space), but definitely a nice one-on-one time with a business...

Today, Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 5:25pm. walked in to place an order to go. what I ASKED FOR, was one large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and an order of cheese bread with extra Marinara sauce for the bread sticks. It was PACKED, dinner rush. it was my fault for not double checking to ensure my order was correct. I reside on the extreme side of town, almost in Monument. the pizza was for my family, so they are very picky eaters. I got home, and its just a pepperoni and breadsticks pizza. I placed a call, spoke to 2 different individuals, and to my shock and surprise, they were extremely professional, kind, courteous, and apologetic. they told me to come on in and the next visit, the large pizza of my choice is on them for, "our mistake." I have to be painfully honest, I was expecting some kind of argument, disagreement, and other passing the blame. for me to even take the time to compose this review speaks VOLUMES!! as I have NEVER posted, or left any review of ANY KIND. I felt obligated to do so, as this pizza establishment is a town landmark. I used to go here after school in the 70's when East Junior High was a thing. so this has a historic value in my life. still excellent quality pizza, just like I remember it almost 50 years ago. THANK YOU! a very...

Just had COVID19-era dine-in on May 30, 2020. Here is what the experience was like: No table-side ordering. You'll need to wait in line with the walk-ins placing to-go orders and order/pay for your food up front. Tables in the front are unavailable due to their proximity to the order line. Fountain drinks are still self-service. All seating is in the back. Every other table is cordoned off. That leaves only 6 booths/tables available. Although, I did see another two tables outside. All food is served in to-go containers. Salads & sandwiches in styrofoam. Pizza and calzones in cardboard pizza boxes. You'll receive a utensil packet with: plastic knife, fork, & spoon; napkin; salt packet (small); pepper packet (small). There is nothing on the table except a napkin dispenser. You will not have a waiter who will come by periodically to check on you. So, you'll need to ask in advance for things like: additional salt/pepper packets, ketchup, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, butter, sugar/sweetener, etc. Food quality and quantity remains unchanged. Although, prices are higher than the last time I visited. I'll post a photo of the latest menu. It was good to eat in a restaurant again!
