We just tried the "New Panda 2" restaurant last night. We like Chinese food, saw their 'one/two liner' reviews (authenticity is questionable [employees, maybe]) and wanted to give them a try, so we did... - Much to our dismay. After over an hour of waiting for the only 3 mile delivery, Everything was correctly ordered on the receipt, but did not come with the food. They shorted us an order of $7 eggrolls, an ordered $3 container of sauce, an order of fried rice, and did not provide much edamame for the price that we are used to from other Chinese restaurants we go to. We called immediately after and instead of rectifying the issue, we were transferred directly to the manager whom argued with us about personally "putting the items in the bag" and wasting our time going over the order. She would not entertain refunding these items due to their mistake, and after 20 minutes of letting our food get cold, she finally caved and told us we can have the paid for missing items without any apology and told us if we wanted it to "come get it ourselves" which takes away the whole point of having it delivered. After further arguing, she agreed to deliver it but could not tell us when they would get around to it. The missing items were eventually sent out over an hour later and well after we finished eating. Nothing was labeled upon arrival for us to sort the meals. More importantly, their idea of "spicy" was more like sweet, and the "happy family" was the most bland tasting Chinese food I have personally ever tasted. I would be surprised if it even had spices in it. The wonton soup tasted like it came from a box at the grocery store and was packed full of salt, and again, I didn't get to try the fried rice with the combination, so I'm not sure how it would have tasted with the rice. The egg rolls that we did get looked more like spring rolls and were relativity tasteless without sauce. That being said, please save your family the disappointment mine had to endure and pick a better place to dump $90 for Chinese food as this place is not worth the money.

Update: I've ordered delivery from this place a few times since my last review and have always been satisfied. However, after ordering again recently, I have to point out a discrepancy on their website. The main page states delivery is free and the order minimum is $15, however during the checkout process, the system charges a $2.25 delivery fee and states the order minimum is $20 (see attached pic). Not really sure what's going on with that, but I think they should update their site info to reflect accurate charges. Not bad. The shrimp in the shrimp lo mein is actually pretty good. After two years in Okinawa, decided to test American sashimi against sashimi I've been eating multiple times a week for a long time. I decided on salmon, yellowtail, and grilled eel. It was surprisingly good, not the same quality as Japan obviously, but still pretty good. Only issue was how ridiculously expensive it is compared to Japan, but I guess here in Murica sashimi prices are unfortunately unavoidable. Wasn't a big fan of the fried dumplings, they tasted a little weird to me, but the crab rangoons were really good. The donuts were good, as expected, and I also tried the original bubble tea because I was surprised to see it on the menu. It was okay, but the tapioca balls were a little meh, not perfectly formed and spherical like they should be. Checked thoroughly for bugs and didn't find any at all. Delivery was on time. Generally good experience.

My partner and I ordered 80 dollars worth of food from here. Vegetables in garlic sauce, general tso's chicken, egg rolls, and pork dumplings. We asked for pork fried rice but were told it comes with the entrées we ordered. Directly after placing the order we called back to double it as we learned family was stopping by. We left generous tips on both orders. When the food came we quickly realized this food was luke warm trash. Everything from frozen. Frozen egg rolls, frozen dumplings, frozen chicken. The rice was overcooked and bland. Rice and soy sauce bland? Yes, bland. The fried rice didn't even have any vegetables in it, forget about pork. We called to complain and were told there's nothing they could do to rectify this situation. No discount, no store credit, no apology. The food was so bad the entire second order went in the trash untouched. Right on top of the remains of the first order. If you want edible food you won't find it here. And I highly doubt these reviews are real. They can't be when this is the absolute worst Chinese, and top ten all time worst restaurants of any kind that I've been to.

ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE IT WILL NOT LET ME POST THIS WITHOUT GIVING AT LEAST THAT! WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF WAS POSSIBLE!

My husband and I ordered from them 6/25/16 around 3:00 P.M. Our daughter was out with grandparents so we ate our lunch boxes and put the rest of the food (the soups, the extra lunch that we had ordered as well) in the fridge. Our daughter came home later that night and after some time asked if she could have some of the soup. I took it out of the fridge and when it was almost done being poured into a bowl out plopped a cockroach. Still alive after hours of being in the soup, swimming around.

I immediately contacted New Panda II, and asked for a manager. They said that the manager was not there but they took my address to get my number and said they would call the manager. A little while later I got the call from the manager who asked me what had happened. I explained. She asked if we wanted a replacement soup, I kindly declined. She asked if a driver could come out to get the soup with the roach and then give us a call back after they received it. I said that was fine. After some time the driver came and my husband took the soup out. The driver first tried to tell him that it was not a roach. Then he tried to say the bug alongside the roach was not a bug, but DIRT. We have pictures of both as proof. He told the driver if it wasn't dirt, to go ahead and eat it if he truly thought that. The driver left to take it back to the store. A little later than that we got a call from the store, this time talking to a different woman with a heavy accent. She asked if we wanted food, I kindly said no. I respectfully explained that we would like a refund.

She said they would not do that as the soup is from the lunch menu. She said instead of a refund, they could offer us two egg rolls for free on our next order. I again kindly said no and said we wouldn't be ordering or eating there again. Instead of listening to what I had just said, she repeated herself but worded it differently. "You can pick up the two egg rolls for free any time - okay!". No, Not okay. There was no apology given from management. No real effort on their part to try to rectify what had happened. A customer orders from you, they are paying for a service. They expect that their food is made in a quality matter, which one would think this would include the basics of hygiene and clean kitchen.

Roaches carry diseases and CAN/DO make you sick! I encourage the management to educate themselves on that matter! As the saying goes for every roach you see there are plenty more. We told them when they tried to call us back and offer us the egg rolls again, that we would be posting replies and contacting the Health Department, the BBB, the News, and writing reviews. We weren't kidding. They have a bug problem and clearly from the lack of surprise and care on their end, they not only know about it but they don't intend to do anything about it either since they seem to think it's no big deal. It is only a matter of time before someone gets...

We have visited this place many times, but it has gone downhill over the last couple years. Our most recent visit on 12/25 we ordered over their website-it said ready in 25-30 minutes. Showed up 25 minutes later. They checked us in, we waited. After 50 minutes from our initial order, checked again, they had no record at that point of our initial order. We had to then prove we even placed an order-showed them THEIR confirmation page and charge to our credit card. They would not put us ahead of the new orders & we waited another 45 minutes (no joke)-after a total of 1 hour & 50 mins from our initial order they gave us our food. (If they had told us from the beginning and we waited at home, the wait would've been a moot issue).

Hugely disappointed as I have always loved this place. Once we got home-three of the four meals were wrong. There was rice instead of noodles, a completely wrong dish that no one would eat in place of one, beef instead of chicken for another (that tasted so bad that I would not let my kids eat it), just awful. I spent $84.08 on food and only one person ate. When we argued with both them and the credit card company, we got nothing back in return. No replacement of food, no apologies, credit- nothing. No customer service. There are so many chinese food places in town this will be our last and final time to visit our longtime go-to place. I simply write this as a warning. If you choose to eat here - eat in house. That way you can complain as you get the food if there are issues. You can make sure it is right as you get it, eat it and you're right there to argue in person; as after the fact and for six weeks after-they will not do a thing for you. This is highly unfortunate for us and while we will miss the good food we use to have; this memory will forever serve as our reminder as to why we will choose differently...
